Started off my career with these“gems”best of my memory one is Hexacon the other is marked Lenk. Both are least 200 Watts. Tips are not frozen( as I took them out and cleaned the barrel) and can easily be replaced or re-tinned. They are not“beautiful” but work well. Very glad I did not have to use these monsters for all of my stained glass career. I eventually used a HP 1.000 degree(50 watt) Ungar integral tip for all my copper foil lamps.

Up for auction is an old but fully functional heavy-duty 200Watt soldering iron. The iron was made in the USA by ESICO(Electric Soldering Iron Co) and has a nice cool grip wood handle. This thing is big; it takes a long time to heat up and even longer to cool down. A small part of the cotton power cable outer covering is a bit frayed but quite safe as there are no bare wires. I plugged it in and it works just fine. San Diego bidders are always welcome to collect an item personally and avoid shipping cost.

vintage heavy duty weller d-550 240/325 watts soldering gun iron
vintage 60's/70's weller d-550 240/325 watt soldering gun in perfect working condition. Case has scratches from normal use and storage, electrical cord has rubber vulcanized tape around small portion of cord from tip melting insulation which effects nothing. the gun needs a new copper tip as the old one i used separated near the soldering tip. the switch on the gun has a positive 2 click feel like new, both lights burn bright with no intermittent flickering, powerfull transformer and heats up instantly, thanks for looking.

This auction is for the vintage heavy duty General Electric soldering iron shown in our photographs. This iron is in good working order and it heats up fast. General Electric model number 6A201G28. 150 watt. 120 volt. 3 wire grounded power cord. There is one small area on the power cord that once the iron accidently touched and melted some of the outer plastic jacket. There is a photo showing the area. As you can see in the photograph the iron did not touch the jackets on the internal wires. This could easily be covered with a little silicone, some electrical tape, or both.
