Though we didn't have any means of measuring how hot it got. We put a circuit board up to the heat gun and within several seconds, the solder started to melt and bead off the board indicating that it's HOT. This unit has a fan and cool-down when powered down to allow everything to properly cool before fully shutting off. The fan spins well and blows a proper amount of air out. It appears to be in great-working condition though we don't have all of the accessories to fully test this.
