Up for bids is the Weller EC 4000 Electronic Control Soldering Station. The unit is in fair condition. It does work. I plugged it in and the pencil did heat up. The LED readout works and it is adjustable. But I did no further testing. The blue plastic housing has several melted areas. Some severe, but none really goes thru into the electronics within. The soldering pencil is the correct type EC 1301, it shows significant use, but it is still useable and replacement tips are available from on line vendors. The AC cord is in good condition, it does have a few burn marks from the soldering pencil, but overall, it is still OK. The EC 1301 cord is also in nice shape-it has no burn marks. Vacuum pump may need a little work due to being stored. Pump turns on but does not seem to be creating a vacuum. It is probably dirty or needs a new diaphragm. Easy fix. I just don't have a use for it. Item will be shipped within 1 day after receiving payment. Thanks for looking!
