This piece is both mechanically sound and has been recently inspected and tested prior to listing the unit for sale. This it was used in operation with the Beckman Coulter Ultra Centrifuge LE-80k that we had here in operation prior to it's sale. he buyer of the unit did not need the rotors since he bought the machine as a direct replacement for his unit that had burnt up. This rotor does have signs of wear and tear, and does have one nice size scratch that is only on the surface as well as a few small dings and dents from prior use but nothing that will hinder it while in operation. It is in excellent condition and comes with 2 NEW Beckman Buna O-Rings(870612 for lid; 11757 for handle) As well as brand NEW 70,000rpm overspeed disk(335585) Accessories are from Beckman Coulter. Rotor has been autoclaved. Rotor recently passed inspection by former Sorvall Technician at Cambridge Scientific Products. Made of Titanium with black polyurethane paint; lid and handle are aluminum anodized for corrosion resistance. Please see below for the video of the rotor spinning at 70.000 rpm. I use this rotor for food science purposes. It is in fantastic shape and I trust it well enough to spin at around max. rpm continuously.
