Small Vintage Rotary Indexing Table for Small Mill / Shaper Used
You are bidding on an original used small vintage Rotary Indexing Table for Small Mill or Shaper. I do not know who made this table. But it looks similar to the ones used on Atlas Shapers. As you notice. There is an indexing pin that you can push back and forth and it indexes every 30 degrees for a total of 12 indexes around the outside perimeter of this table. It has 4 t-slots in it as you can see. In the middle. There is a tapped hole in the back of the unit that could be held down to another table. It has a small locator in the center and a small groove milled in it for a key. This table is in good original condition. It does have some surface rust and pitting on the one side from age. These are very rare and hard to find. The surface looks to be originally ground. I did do a test on the top surface and the top surface has a total of about.003 ... moreindicator runout. It has a small graduation on the side with 360 degrees graduation. There is no way to tighten the table other than the index pin so you will need to stop at one of the 12 desired indexing locations in order to stop the table completely. The index pin is in good shape for its age. These rotary tables are hard to find. Don't miss out on this one. This unit will be sold as-is. No returns or refunds once the item is purchased. Hooked it up to the compressor and tested advancing fine- Has a standard 5-pin CNC plug, but I have no idea how to test that function- the shop closed, and there's no need for this expensive piece of equipment. Check the video link out- I believe this can be used manually with a foot pedal or hand control, and may also be hooked to a CNC controller for your lathe or mill. 4" to the center of the mounting plate, 3" center-to-center on the mounting bolt holes. Add a chuck or rotary table plate. The center hole is tapered, maybe for a 3-C collet- or R8- smooth bore tho- no threads.
