Here's an extremely lightly used Haas Digital Indexer Setup. Complete with Model S5C Control and matching S5C 5C Horizontal/Vertical Collet Indexer. This is the last model of the black Haas indexers(before they went to red paint) and is a 17 pin. Brush type model. The setup works perfectly. It's simple to use as a stand alone indexing unit. The newer brushless models use oil. Those are the only differences between this unit and the newest models of which I am aware. Further. The control panel on this S5C box has more robust buttons and switches which will last a lot longer than the newer membrane type panels. I was going to use this system on a non-Haas CNC machine. So. I acquired the proper Haas 4 Pin control cable(still in plastic and included) and an extra panel mount for my"other" CNC machine. I never had a chance to complete that before deciding that this is just too much for my simple machining tasks, not to mention the considerable investment that I'd like to recover. Very nice Haas Yuasa 5C indexer with air collet chuck. In excellent working condition and looks good. Includes the pneumatics control cabinet but you will need to figure out how to configure/wire the pneumatic controls depending on your needs. All programs work. Returns to zero. Seal-tite cord is about 10 ft long between controller and indexer head. Payment due in full by Paypal within 7 days of close of auction. Buyer pays cost of shipping by UPS ground. I will pack this properly for shipping- most probably will pack in two separate boxes(one for the controller and pneumatics. Haas 5C Servo 4th Axis Indexer Rotary
This Haas 5c Brushed Servo Indexer is in like new condition. It was purchased as an option on a Micro Machine system for $6000 and was only used a couple of times. If you want to use this with a Haas servo control box you would need to re-wire it with the Haas connector. I called Haas service center and explained to them what motor this unit had installed and they stated it would use a 17-Pin connector as it was a Servo motor and the encoder has the preferred feedback option. As you can see from the pictures this Indexer is probably the nicest one ever seen up on Ebay. I powered up the Servo motor and the motion is smooth. Fluid, and quite. This unit still has the factory installed grease as you can see in one of the pictures.

This set can be used on its own or the controller bypassed and plugged in to a CNC machine to trigger movements. You can pull up some YouTube videos of ones like this in operation. This unit was used very little and with a spray oil cutting lubricant as opposed to a water based coolant that tends to shorten the working life of these units. haas rotary tailstock 4" centerline was used with haas model 5c indexing head. i dont know what model this tailstock is. But it was used with a haas model 5c digital indexing head. this is a manual tailstock the overall condition is good. some paint has come off as you can see in the pics. it has scratches. Scrapes, and dings on it from what id say is from normal use. it measures about 5 3/8" to the top where the"haas" plate is mounted. it is about 9 1/2" long when all the way in and about 12" long when all the way out. these 2 lengths are to the back of the"handwheel" and dont include the knob sticking out. it measures about 4" wide. Measuring with a tapemeasure the locator pins on the bottom are about 5/8" dia. $20 shipping is to the lower 48 states only.
