Pair of Choice Condition PENN Senator 14/0 Fishing Trolling Reels
For sale here is a pair of choice condition. PENN SENATOR 14/0 star drag, deep sea trolling reels and they are complete with both rod brace assemblies, rod clamps and retaining nuts. The handles are the much-sought-after-by-collectors wood color and the spools are the preferred chrome-plated brass. The 14/0 is also known as PENN's Model 117. It is designed to bring in the largest of game fish and carries 750 yards of 130 lb. test monofilament line and of course a much larger amount of modern Spectra or Braid. It has a gear ratio of 1.6 to 1. Cosmetics are excellent and so is performance. The drags work perfectly well and the clickers are so loud, they could awaken Ted Williams. The 14/0 has been a great workhouse of a reel for over 70 years and these two have been sisters for along time. I will not separate them. These reels are fully ... morespooled and have a top shot of thick. Leader-like monofilament that appears in great shape. Because of the difficulty of removing all of that line, I cannot express an opinion on the condition of the underlying spools other than to say there is no evidence of any problem. The black bakelite side plates are still shiny, a good indication of little exposure to sun or sea. Boat rash is almost nonexistant. For sale here is a used pair of chrome-plated brass spool. PENN SENATOR 14/0 star drag, deep sea trolling reels, one with a white handle and the other black. These reels are complete with both rod brace assemblies, rod clamp and retaining nuts. The rod clamps are the preferred types with security rings. The 14/0 is also known as PENN's Model 117 and it is designed to bring in the largest of game fish and carries 750 yards of 130 lb. test monofilament line and of course a much larger amount of modern Spectra or Braid. This pair is presently spooled with line of unknown strength or age. Because of the difficulty of removing all of that line, I can't express an opinion on the condition of the spool surface beneath the line but there is really little that can happen to these durable chrome-plated brass spools. Vintage Pflueger Fishing Reel No.1976 Saltwater Trolling Deep Sea Fishing Reels
Up for bidding is a Pflueger Ohio Model 1976. It is bakelite. You can't see on the end plate the words Patented and Pat's Pend. and on the foot is a"B" Marking on front plate is visible in picture. This is a saltwater reel in good condition. There is some saltwater wear on the pillars and inside of the plates. The black bakelite end plates and all markings are in excellent condition. The knob may have been replaced. All pictures I've seen were wood knobs. Everything else on this reel is exactly like the pictures. It has a Barracuda leather thumb tension. I assume this was an aftermarket addition but I don't know. The drag and clicker are in excellent working condition. There is some of the silver coating has rubbed off showing the brass. There is two very minor chips on the edge of the front plate. The owner must have taken really good care of this reel. These 2 Penn Peer 209 Fishing reels were found at a local estate sale. Both seem to be in perfect working order. The green handled reel is missing 1 of the screws that hold in the plate that attaches to the rod. Plate is still tight and secure. I tried to show in the pictures that both of these reels have some corrosion. As stated before they both work fine but will need some cleaning to take care of this corrosion. Pair of PENN Senator 14/0 130 Lb. Class Fishing Trolling Reels - Excellent!
For sale here is a pair of carefully. Carefully used brown handle, PENN SENATOR 14/0 star drag, 130 lb. class, deep sea trolling reels and they are complete with both rod brace assemblies, rod clamps and retaining nuts. The 14/0 is also known as PENN's Model 117. It was designed to bring in the largest of game fish and carries 750 yards of 130 lb. test monofilament line and of course a much larger amount of modern braid. The gear ratio is 1.6 to 1. Drags are smooth and strong and the clickers are plenty loud.probably enough to wake up a cryogenically frozen fisherman.or one asleep at the helm. These reels perform just as they were designed to do and their cosmetics are excellent with little boat rash and no split rings. The chrome plated brass spool is preferred by some fishermen because it is impervious to corrosion. The bakelite sideplates ... moreare not cracked. These reels are presently spooled with line of unknown condition and strength. Because of the difficulty of removing all of that line. I cannot express an opinion on the condition of the spool surfaces beneath, but there is nothing that would lead me to believe there would be a problem. The PENN Senator 14/0 is still being manufactured. So all parts are available. Selling a pair of antique wooden trolling hand reels. Original paint and patina. Both would display great on a wall. Both have original lines and lures at end. One is marked SKINNER Naples NY and we believe the other is also but worn. Both vintage reels came from the Finger Lakes area of New York State.

The Reel uses a rotating bar with a twist in it rather that a standard levelwind. Some wear but it’s in Great Cosmetic and Working shape in all. Gear Ratio 3:1. Has a line capacity of 20lb@ 350 yds. Weight 21 oz. Counterbalanced handle with turquoise torpedo knob. Precision machined stainless steel pinion gear with a high strength bronze alloy main gear. Loud, durable, easy-to-service clicker. High capacity chrome plated metal Spool with some minor pitting but good solid shape. Plates have some normal wear but great solid shape and a good emblem. Pair PENN Senator 12/0 80 lb. Class Fishing Trolling Reels
For sale here is a pair of used. Chrome-plated brass spool, PENN SENATOR 12/0 star drag, 80 lb. class, deep sea trolling reels and each is complete with rod brace assembly, rod clamp and retaining nuts. This is also known as PENN's Model 116. It is designed to bring in large game fish and carries 800 yards of 80 lb. test monofilament line and of course a much larger amount of modern braid. It has a gear ratio of 2 to 1. I have gone through these reels and they perform just the way they were designed with smooth drags and a very loud clickers. Spools are the much preferred chrome-plate brass. Cosmetics are about average with some boat rash and loss of chrome plating. I have rated the cosmetics a 8.5 on a scale of 10. Pair of PENN Senator 6/0 30 Lb. Class Fishing Trolling Reels - Very Nice
For sale here is a pair of carefully used PENN SENATOR 6/0 star drag. 30 lb. class, deep sea trolling reels and they are complete with rod clamps and retaining nuts. These 6/0's are also known as PENN's Model 114H. It was designed to bring in large game fish and carries 525 yards of 30 lb. test monofilament line and of course a much larger amount of modern braid. The gear ratio is 1.6 to 1. Clickers and drags work well and over-all operations are excellent. The only downside is minor boat rash and some loss of chrome plating on the visible portion of the spool. Because of the difficulty of removing all of that line, I am unaware, as is usual, of the condition of the spool beneath the line. The design of the PENN Senator line is so good. For sale here is a pair of lightly used PENN International 50SW 2-speed. Lever drag, deep sea trolling reels, serial numbers L960269 and F920850, and they are complete with rod clamp and acorn nuts. This is a 50 lb. class reel and is designed to hold 850 yards of 50 lb. monofilament line and of course. A far larger amount of modern braid line. Both reels are presently fully spooled with line of unknown strength and because of the difficulty in removing all of that line, I cannot express an opinion on the condition of the spool's surface beneath, but there is nothing that indicates a problem to me. Gear ratios are 3.1:1 and 1.3:1. Spool width is 3 1/4 inches. Drags and clickers work well. Cranking is smooth. There is very moderate boat rash and corrosion but no damage. These reels are from the early Meisselbach days. Before they started stamping their name on their products. The vertical reel is stamped"HERMOS/PAT.APD.FOR" It is 4 1/2" in diameter, width of spool 1" This reel has a line guide and a spring steel friction drag. There are two large bulbous wooden winding knob. The sidewinder or horizontal model is stamped"HERMOS REEL" Also 4 1/2" in diameter, 1" wide spool. Also two large bulbous wooden winding knobs. Up for sale are 3 nice Daiwa Sealine 27H conventional level wind fishing reels.All are in good usable shape. With minor flaws.Nice for big lake trolling, or medium to light ocean use.Line is 12-290yards, 14-230 yards, and 20-195 yards.On two of them the top info plate is missing, and the handle looks to need tightening on one.But other then that they are good to go, might need some mimimal lubricant as well.Everything seems to function as should.Also I am not sure regarding the line already on them as well.Probably will need to be replaced as well.Please see pics.Overall good usable shape I would say.Any questions please ask.Thanks for looking.

Up for sale are 2 nice Olympic Dolphin 631-LW conventional fishing reels.Used on fresh water salmon trolling. Stainless steel trim rings, reel foot, drag star, crank and crank and pinion gears give this reel added corrosion resistance. The calculated ... morespool capacity is 400 yds, 20# which is about the same size as a Penn 209. These are well-made reels that can give a lifetime of service with proper care.
