Penn 209 & 210 Fishing Reels - for Parts or Repair – ( tackle lot )
The Penn 210 is missing its side oil cap. With its clicker ON. The reel chatters or vibrates a little. I don’t know if those issues are related. With. Its clicker OFF, it seems to work ok. The line guide bars DO move across the face as they should. The Penn 209 works ok but needs a good cleaning and oiling. The bake-lite casing is sun-faded which is pretty normal on these. These reels& pop gear tackle were retrieved from an estate. So I don't know much about them. The reels appear to be in good operating condition, probably just need a little TLC, a good cleaning& lubrication) same with the pop gear tackle. One of the True Temper 923 c,s is a little rough. All the reels, except the immec) are made in the good ole' USofA. 1 Penn Peer#309- 2 True Temper 923c.S-1 immec 256p-1 True Temper 922c This lot is a very good value. They all work but could use a good cleaning and re line. The Garcia reel has a problem with the bail not closing after casting, I’m not sure what is wrong but clip does not release- maybe it could be fixed I’m not sure. These have been used and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage. They would be nice for use, collector or good for decoration in your den or hunting room. This is a nice package of 2 antique fishing reels. Used. As far as I know these reels are in fine working order but I don't know very much about them. The smaller reel on the left is a Sunnybrook Union Hardware Co. Torrington, Conn. reel. The larger reel on the right only has"Arbeco" on it and"09" stamped on the foot. Fishing Reels 7 Reels 1 Spool Shakespeare Bradley Zebco South Bend Spinning Auto
OK. This is a lot of 7 vintage fishing reels and one unknown spool. The spool measures 2 1/4 inches across on the bigger side and just over 2 inches on the other, it appears to be in good condition and has a small amount of line on it, the only marking I can find is a number 2. The reels all need some work or repair. Some minor, some a little more extensive. My husband doesn't have time to work on them and I don't know much about what they need. The Bradley appears to be a rare reel, it appears complete, needs some mechanical work and the back of the foot is broken off, see photos. The body has some paint scuffed off, and one small dent on one side. The foot can be changed by removing 2 screws. The next reel is a ZEBCO 202, cosmetically it is OK, needs a good cleaning, but mechanically it needs work, I think it's complete, but ... moream not sure. The brown closed face spinning reel is a Shakespeare No. 1765 Wonderflyte Push Button reel. The click works, it's cosmetically good on the body, the thumb button has stains that MAY clean off, I haven't tried. It also appears complete and has just a little paint rubbed off, pretty good for an old reel. It does have a drag knob. The South Bend is a Classic 935 reel, similar to a Garcia Mitchell 300. It appears to be complete but needs some mechanical work, perhaps just some adjustments. It needs to be cleaned but the exterior is in pretty good shape, in my opinion. One small spinning reel is a KMart reel I believe, it's made in Taiwan and needs work. The other spinning reel is a 402B Master, with no brand name. It appears complete and is cosmetically good. It seems to work OK, it has a good click, but a little hitch in the handle, there may be just something loose, I'm not sure. The automatic has no markings that I can find and it doesn't work. It's worn but has no obvious damage, cracks or dents. Feel free to email for additional info or photos. Here is a lot of 4 fishing reels. One is a daiwa. One is a firebird, one is a cheap unmarked one, and the other is a Garcia Mitchell. The firebird has a crack on the cap. It seems to reel fine. The daiwa is a 210 RL silvercast made in Japan. It seems to reel okay, but it also seems to have some issues like something is loose on it. The Garcia is simply for parts. It is missing some parts and I think the plastic in the front is cracked. The other spinning open face reel is messed up. You can barely reel it and when you do, the gears strip. It is plastic. The reels that work okay, I can't guarantee how long they will work. All of these items may have imperfections, scratches, knicks, could be dirty, etc. Use the pictures to judge condition farther. Up for Sale: 2 Vintage Bakelite Saltwater Fishing Reels. The one on the left is marked Sea-Scout with no other markings/stampings. Bakelite housing overall good condition with light moderate signs of wear/usage. Very small amount of corrosion at the spool connectors. Looks like minimal surface contained to a small area. The reel action is smooth, a tad tight, and the clicker option works as well. Not sure if there was a star lever drag but there is no present drag system. Reel spins freely either way. Plenty of life left. The other is a Ocean City Mfg. Co. Model 250. There is a badge that states Made fr R.H. Macy& Co. by Ocean City Mfg. Bakelite condition identical to above. For sale is a group of old vintage(different ages) fishing reels for parts(found together. Kept together) Also threw in a couple spools. I obtained these as needing repairs, parts, etc. and offer them as the same. I did wipe them down some to see what was under the dirt and grime and found some to be in near(maybe all the way) working condition. Some may just need oil but don' t count on that for many. I did not test any beyond activating the bail and turning the handle. Did find that the reels with handles all did turn at least some and(cannot say all) some drags did work. Some do have line left on the spools. Some are empty. VTG Lot - 3 Fishing Reels–Penn Senator, Shakespeare President II, Unmarked Japan
You are bidding on a lot of three vintage fishing reels that we are selling for parts only. The first reel is a Penn Senator 4/0 reel. This reel has a green handle which does turn and the reel for the string turns. It does show rust and oxidation. The second reel is a Shakespeare President II reel that is marked 1980 HB. The handle turns. The line part turns. There is some rub off of the black paint. The third reel does not show the manufacturer. The handle turns. But the line part does not turn. The only marking shows the size of the line to be used in this reel(see pictures) This marking indicates that the part was made in Japan. This is a large reel.
