This is a vintage USPS Post Office Box Door that has been attached to a modern wooden bank. The door measures 3 7/8" wide x 5 3/8" tall. Including the frame. The whole box's outer measurements are 6 1/2" tall x 5 1/8" wide x 4 1/4" deep, including the door. The inside of the box measures 5" tall x 3 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" deep. It is meant to open only on one number(which I will divulge to the buyer) But its mechanism is a little loose, so it opens on almost any number at the moment. This box was used by soldiers for carrying Military equipment(such as Military Geiger counters. Manuals, reporting forms, warning signs, etc. used to survey nuclear weapons effects(i.e. radiation) It could have been used by Survey teams to establish the outer limits of the fallout pattern from a nuclear bomb explosion. Gorgeous Old Vintage Carved Turned Wood Pediment Post Ladies Faces OKAY. Listing new items from loooots of places this week- we went up to Antiques on the Bluff in beautiful St. Joseph Michigan as we always do this time of year, and I found some really unique oldees. I'm also still listing items from the Route 127 sale in Ohio, and the antique store auction- sososo many cool things- you'll want to keep checking! This one is such a curiosity to me! I don't know if it was made to be an architectural pediment. Or a furniture pediment, but it appears to me as if it was made an never used. How sad, don't you think, because it is a hands-down gorgeous one of a kind piece. Now, I'm calling it old vintage in my title, but I do believe that it could be old enough to be antique. I purchased some very cool and very old antique pediments ... moreat the antique store auction. This is one of my favorites. It's carved from one piece of solid turned wood- you can see the marks on either end from the turning, and the carving is of two lady's heads- one upside down, depending upon how you tunn it. The detail is exquisite- please supersize and look at all of my photos. It doesn't appear to have ever been stained or varnished- the dark color of the patina is natural, I do believe. That being said, I do think that it looks lighter in my photos on my screen than it does to the eye. It measures 2 3/4" wide, 3 3/4" deep and 13 3/4" tall. It's heavy, weighing a smidge under 2 lbs. The back as wells as the ends are flat. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's minor small cracks to the wood where there is no movement at all. There's some teenie nicks and nibbles to the wood- and one that looks like it could have been a fallen out knot, or original- I'm showing it in photo 6 and it's on one of the ends. Antique 1882 Dark Wood Newell Post With Wooden Carved Light Fixture
This came from the back staircase of a historic victorian home in Wellington. Ohio that I am rehabbing. You are more than welcome to inspect and pick up in person. Right now it is in 2 pieces, as I found it. The light section is really heavy with a thick angular centerpiece with surrounding spindles. I would assume it is oak. Heavy dense wood, but I can't really tell for sure with the dark stain. I definitely would rewire. That is a light socket on top. Together they are 61" tall. With the newell post being 41" alone. 6" across. Some egg and dart trim is present around top, which can easily be repaired with new. Please ask any questions. Posted with

It is made of wood and looks like the design is either pressed into the wood or was burned into the wood. What is so unique about the box is the design. Gorgeous Large Primitive Antique Wood Architectural Pediment Piece Post 13 lbs I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! Here's another show stopper today- and I don't think that my photos do it justice. It weighs actually. 13 1/2 lbs of solid wood- it's an architectural pediment of some sort- not sure where it lived in the building, but it will be yours to decide now. This is a beautiful primitive piece, with wornwornworn finish that is down to the wood in many spots, and crackled and alligatored in others. It measures 34 5/8" tall, 7" wide and 4 1/2" deep measuring ... morefrom the back to the highest point in the front. The wood of the background is dark to the point of almost black, and the raised areas either were left light on purpose, or have lost most of their finish, it's hard to tell which. If you look at photos 10, 11& 20, I'm showing a 1/4" chip, and a sliver next to it gone to the top of the wood at one end(the smaller raised end) it's right on the edge of the raised area. It looks like the top of the raised area may have been veneer, and that's what has chipped( or it just could be the wood chipped there, because, believe me, it's solid wood underneath. I'm not sure aoubt that, though, and this is the only spot that makes me question- there's no other chips that look like it may be veneer- so supersize and see what you think. That being said, there ARE other small chips to the piece, along with scrathes, scrapes, nicks, dings and cracks. It's rustic, but gorgeous and totally solid and sturdy. I'm not sure if I have it upside down or right side up in my photos( but either short end is unfinished, with holes from whenever it was in place, and the same goes for the back. This is a stateme

Vintage Industrial Uhl Drafting Stool Green Steel Wood Seat Factory F. Post old
Great vintage steel stool with wood seat and wood back rest. It believe it is a Uhl Toledo stool but has no Uhl label. Just says Frederick Post(a drafting supply company) and City of Madison tag. The painted steel surface has tons of character, rust, wear and patina, yet is still very sturdy and functional. The wood seat has it's original finish and is in good sturdy condition. Stool adjusts from 25- 31 inches high, adjustment lever functions like it should, bottoms of feet pivot and chair rotates. This stool is fresh out of an old estate and may require some cleaning, please look at the photos. VERY RARE! We are pleased to offer this unique and exceptional pair of Mid Century(1960s- 1980s) Hollywood Regency reclaimed decorative pieces! The pair once served as the bed posts of a footboard on a Mid Century bed. The pair features large brass lion heads with nice detailing. The bodies are fluted wood columns that taper very slightly toward the bottom. The raised bases are brass. There are screw holes up and inside the bases. I cannot find any information on the bed nor is the manufacturer's mark present. However, these are quite special and obviously high end. They may be custom pieces.not sure. They are quite heavy, weighing 10 pounds each. The backs of the bodies have the attachment housing still intact so the pair could be used as a bed piece. They are quite gorgeous as floor finials, mantle pieces and interior accents. This ... moreis a stunning pair with great detail and interest. They are in very good condition with some age spots on the brass and some very minor scuffing to the finish. Neither of these are very noticeable and certainly do not distract from this gorgeous pair. TRULY ONE OF A KIND! These are large pieces. Each column measures 28.25" tall. The brass lion heads are 8.5" tall. Both the brass heads and the brass bases are 4.25" in diameter and the fluted sections are 3.5" in diameter. As previously stated. Each piece weighs 10 pounds.
