Antique Log Cabin Quilt. 3000 Plus, Very Thin Logs, C. 1870, Excellent Condition This fabulous antique log cabin quilt has a mix of fine wools and beautiful dress fabric. The quilter used two different techniques-some of the squares are made with amazingly thin logs in just two prints. Other squares use slightly larger logs in a variety of fabrics. The combination is quite stunning. The back is a classic patchwork. I love that the binding is Purple, applied on both sides. 74" x 66" This quilt has rarely been used. It's in Excellent condition. There's one middle block with fabric loss which I've pictured. And a very few areas with minor fabric loss. This is a beautiful antique quilt. In outstanding condition! I am selling this for my aunt and uncle. They are from my grandfathers farm. they came from a two story log home that was approximately 80 feet long by 25 to 30 feet wide. the original chimney stone are included although i do not have pictures of them just yet. if you are interested in pictures of the stone please let me know your email address and i will try to get them to you asap. this home was built in the early 1800s and was dismantled by my uncle. he had plans to reassemble but just never got to it. they all have been stored inside until just recently. please ask any questions you have and i will do my best to get a correct answer to you. I do not know how many logs there are but as you can see there are many and of all different lengths. I cannot ship these nor do i have the means to load them. 1860 Log cabin hand hewed logs with pegs from Kansas. We marked the logs for easy reassembly and moved this cabin to Missouri. After 37 years its time for it to find a new home.It survived all kinds of turmoil through the 1800's. I have the diagram from when it was taken apart and reassembled. A little t.l.c. and this would make a great hunting cabin or a cabin for a historic or put it on your land or lot somewhere for just a great weekend getaway.

Offered is a green vaseline depression glass pitcher. This pitcher is in the Pillar Optic pattern also known as Logs or Log Cabin made by Anchor Hocking in circa 1937-1942. It glows next to a black light like vaseline or uranium glass. It is the 60 oz. pitcher and stands 8-1/4" tall and is 4-1/2" in diameter on top. It is in nice condition with minimal usage marks. Offered for Auction: Green Depression Glass Pillar Optics 8.25" Luncheon Plates Very Good used condition. One has a flea bite on the edge and they do have normal wear with some scratches on the face of the plate that could probably be buffed out Depression Glass has some rough edges along the seams and at the tops and bases. They were manufactured to be inexpensive and not a lot of care was given to them sometimes in the final finishing process. These are used and do have some signs of that. Any chips. Cracks or other flaws will be noted. We are downsizing and unpacking boxes that have been in storage for years. Items are listed as we unpack. Folk Art Primitive Log Cabin w/ Natural Branches Fitted Like Lincoln Logs
I have used this little cabin as a Christmas display with the trees on a snow cloth. It has been in my possession for about 15 years. I do not know the builder but it is very well done. Constructed of branches which are interlocking on the corners like Lincoln logs. These are filled in between with what looks like caulk or wood filler. Some of it is missing( see photo) and it is drying out a little due to age. The roof is formed from two pieces of plywood with a pitch in the center. Strips of bark were used to cover the board. Some of the bark has come off. I could replace it myself but do not have time or the inclination. Dimensions:The plywood base is 17 1/2 inches x 14 inches. The cabin is 9 inches tall at the highest point. The front logs are 9 inches on the left side and 3 1/2 inches on the right side of the door. The side logs are 13 ... moreinches long and the back logs are 16 1/2 inches long. The logs are formed from natural wood branches which are about 1 inch in diameter. Very tightly joined. No wobbling.Comes with vintage artificial trees. Will require a 20 inch box to ship. Very heavy so shipping will be substantial.
