Scotland, fine original artwork on auxiliary soundboard/dust cover(photos 7& 8) The c ase is mahogany. The nameboard is English sycamore with finely carved fretwork openings. Ornate brass collars set off the four turned legs. Serial number 1645. The nameboard cartouche reads"Muir. Wood& Co. This is a great piece of decoration that will make that added finishing touch on a piece of furniture or post. Maybe you need one like this to match another. Whatever the case. I think this finial is oak(but I am no expert) This piece stands 6 1/2" high and is 3 3/4" in diameter at the base. Lillian Russell post 1950 Cherry wood bedroom furniture
We have a beautiful Lillian Russel bedroom suite that we need to find a new home. We have the dresser with full mirror. Lyre side table, night stand, chest of drawers with mustache mirror and head boards and foot boards with the bed frames. One of the foot boards has a crack in the wood as does the large mirror. They have been repaired. The tops of the furniture are in nice shape with little wear. These pieces have been in storage for over 20 years and we have no place for them. 1836 LOW POST / SPOOL or ROPE BED in CHERRY WOOD "NO RESERVE" A-1 CONDITION
NO RESERVE A 19TH CENTURY(CIRCA 1936) LOW POST/ SPOOL or ROPE BED in CHERRY WOOD. PICTURES DO NOT REFLECT THE TRUE CHERRY RED COLOR OF THE WOOD. WHICH IS LIGHTER THAN WHAT IS SHOWN. This consists of a headboard. Footboard and two side rails. The spools of the bed were individually turned by a turner at a lathe. Remeniscant of the Jenny Lind style beds. This piece is gorgeous and in A-1 condition. I would assume that the slats crossing over are not original to the piece. But can be used with a mattress instead of ropes! The bed measures 78 inches X 54.5 inches overall on outside of where the bed sits. The inside measurements for a mattress are 48 inches X 71-72 inches. This does not fit a 3/4 size mattress. But a mattress store can cut a mattress to fit. You would not need a box spring. Because that would raise it too high and high the overall ... morebeauty of the bed. Here's a wooden filing cabinet in good condition. Beautiful original finish(tiger oak perhaps? with brass pulls. All wood construction except for metal drawer bodies. There's a metal tag inside with a serial number and"USPO Dept" affixed to the interior of the cabinet. The body of the cabinet has some insect damage on the underside- floor is thin and has some holes in the corner as pictured. But it doesn't affect function. One drawer corner chipped, and one of the pulls is missing a screw and is slightly bent. This is a heavy. Quality cabinet. Measures 33" wide x 17" deep x 13" tall. Thanks for looking!

VINTAGE POST WWII JAPAN JAPANESE HAND CARVED WOOD SOUVENIR CANE & POOL CUE
A very unusual vintage hand carved and painted Japanese souvenir cane. That opens and converts to a pool cue, made just after WWII. It depicts a map of Japan and Korea. It is in good condition with minor surface wear including scratching and abrasion throughout, some chipping and discoloration to the celluloid finial, and tarnish and discoloration to metal parts. There is a drip of glue at the end near the finial under the metal threaded cap- this could have happened during original assembly. The top threaded half of the white handle/knob is missing. Please review the images. The cane measures 34.5" long. Assembled, the pool cue is 57.75" long. Shipping within the contiguous United States will be $10.95.

Lot of 4 Vintage Wood Painted Napkin Rings - 1946 Post War Occupied Germany
I believe these are a post World War II occupied Germany souvenir or trench art made by a soldier. There are 4 wooden napkin rings; 3 that have been hand painted with flowers on both sides(see first 2 photos) and one that has flowers on one side and"1946 Bremen" on the other. All 4 are signed"Keiley" on the inside and are in great vintage condition. The paint has worn off a little and they have great patina. I do not know what type of wood these are. But they either have lots of fine lines carved in them, inside and out, like they were turned on a lathe, or they are cut from very finely layered plywood. If anyone knows more about these than I do. Antique Mahogany Newel Post and 12' Railing - SOLID WOOD - Architectural Salvage
Available here is an antique newel post and railing. These are made of solid mahogany. No veneer here. You can't get anything like this anymore! The newel post stands almost 5' high. It is approximately 57" from floor to top of finial. It is in three pieces, a square base with a rounded stand, the rounded post and the top finial. The largest part of the square base is approximately 17.75"x17.75" There are threaded rods on the inside that connect the base and post together, the finial sits on top. There are specks of white paint around the newel post. I will let the buyer decide how to remove it. This newel post is meant to be at the bottom of a staircase. The railing is 12' long and approximately 5.5" wide. It is also made of solid mahogany. The bottom of the railing mounts flush onto the newel post. vintage post WWII Czech VZ58 Bayonet knife 2 different versions 1 wood handle
This lot includes the 2 Czech bayonets in the photo. They are 2 different variations. The first is a two rivet type with short rounded guard. It has a half tang and unusual wood handle. The other is a two rivet type with long guard. It has a full tang and the standard composition handle. The full tang version is in good shape and appear to be unused with only minor wear from storage and handling. The wood handle version is used and has wear. The tip is blunted and the handle has a crack through it on each side. No sheaths. Shipping is $5.65

Vintage indian camp on wood base. Plastic indian, wood tee pee and fire logs. It has a gold label on front*SIOUX Trading Post Ogallala Nebr. can be read nicely but label is peeling on corner. It's 4 1/2" tall, wood base is 4 3/4" X 3 5/8" and 5/8" thick. It has small damage to tip of tee-pee and indian's head piece has wear on edges. I tried to look up information about trading post, this one may have closed in 1969. The bottom of base is stamped Japan, also there's some excess glue behind tee-pee. Up for sale is a very nice Vintage Selmer Signet Wood Clarinet. Serial# 10986. Signet serial numbers were up around 9000 before WWII. So as best I can figure out, this dates it to the Post WWII era, perhaps the mid to late 1940s? I think it's in very good condition for its age. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it needed a re-pad. A wax and a polish wouldn't go amiss either. Please look at the pictures for the condition of both clarinet and case and please feel free to ask any questions. They have always been tough to find but more people starting wanting one for their"man cave" or pro-shop archive. In addition to the people who have been collecting historical bowling items. With the amount of old bowling alleys bulldozed, burnt to the ground or gutted, antiques like this are gonna be very hard to find more of down the road for sure! It is roughly 39 1/2" tall x 8" x 8" in size. This is a antique piece of wood furniture and shows it age proudly i'd say. These are always a tremendous item of conversation when i show it to others. Set of 3 from a home built in the 1860's to 1870's. From the flat base up they are 5 1/4" tall-6 1/4" total counting the tapered mounting nob. tapered nob goes from about 3/4" to 1" where it meets the base. Base is 3 1/2" diameter. Sound and solid.
