Penn Antique Restoration. 36"x84" Antique Exterior White Oak Door w/ 9 Beveled Glass Lites. Marvelous. Antique, exterior door salvaged from a historic home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door has a solid pine core with 1/8" white oak veneers and 9 intact, beveled glass lites. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped with any hardware. However. W e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store. And tons more in our physical store. If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood.see"Modification" below. Condition: On the exterior side. There is a crack ... moreon the top of the hinge stile. The top hinge mortise, the top of the hinge stile, the edge of the hinge stile and the bottom of the whole door are all chipped. On the interior side. Some veneer is cracked on the top of the hinge stile and the bottom of the hinge stile is cracked. The bottom rail is missing a strip of veneer. The bottom of the lock stile is chipped. Otherwise. The door is strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Quirks& Considerations: The width was unevenly cut by 1/4" and the he was unevenly cut by 1/8" at some point. Most likely to accommodate for a warped floor or settling foundation. For sale is 170 square feet of reclaimed 2" wide x 1/2" thick white oak flooring. It was milled by Bradley 40-50 years ago. Grade is#1 common and better. This was removed from a residence approximately fifteen years ago. And has been stored in my heated industrial condo. This dimension of flooring has become increasingly difficult to find in recent years, especially in small quantities. The fastenings(nails) are removed. There is a neutral finish on the boards, as well as paint splatters, but that will easily sand off during the finishing process. Appears to have been minimally sanded just once, when installed. The tongue and groove is for the most part intact; there may be small amounts of debris in some areas that has to be cleaned out before installation. It has an Oak Leaf motif with wonderful gilding around the lid, sides, spout and handle. There is some grazing throughout the porcelain but unless you examine it closely it does not show. This holds 4 cups. It is 9 1/2" long, 4 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" tall.

Antique ARCHITECTURAL Salvage Oak NEWEL POST with Old Chippy White Paint Size: 45 3/4" tall x 8" x 8" overall(all measurements are approximate) Description: This whimsical antique newel post will add architectural interest to your home- the possibilities are endless. These are often seen only in decorator magazines and are hard to find. Even in antique stores. This is out of a Victorian mansion in the Los Angeles area. This one is wonderful and heavy with nice thick moldings and a whimsical details. The old white paint is all perfectly time worn. Shabby and chippy. You can see the original oak wood underneath in the photos, in places where the paint is worn off. It has been indoors for all of it's life so there is no dry rot that I sometimes see on wood that has been out in the elements. Though the paint is chippy and worn ... moreit is not'shedding' as some others are. There are carved wooden ribbon applique details on 3 sides- so romantic! Please see the photos of showing the cut out notches on the bottom of the back side. They are pretty much all this way when they are removed from a stairway(see last two photos) This could easily be filled in with some old wood or you can just turn that side toward the wall as I have. Even with the notched-out area on the base it still stands alone and is quite sturdy. There is also a rough area near the top on the back side where it was removed from the banister. There are a few minor age splits on the surface of the wood that are tight and do not distract- just adds to its character. This one is flat on the top which is nice to use to display a statue or other objects. Antique Solid White Oak Wood Doors
These doors were removed from an elementary school built in 1905 which was being renovated. The doors are solid white oak and were from the Boy's and Girl's restrooms. They are just under 36" x 84" in size and in good shape except for some damage to the louver in the Boy's room door. They would be perfect for a bar or restaurant renovation with some refinishing. I have seen these doors for sale on architectural materials web sites for over $500 dollars each. Auction is for both doors but I will be willing to sell separately.

Vintage Desk This antique desk is made of solid white oak and dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The desk has an older finish which has recently been waxed to bring back its finish. The drawers have solid brass lion head pulls. The raised back top section of desk has an opening that was originally used for files. Office clip boards etc. and has recently had the the inside corners notched to inset a piece of glass to turn the top section into an upper shelf. The top of desk angles down slightly like the old school desk from that era. The underside of desk has had some repairs and pieces replaced over the years to strengthen the legs and top. The wood on top has a spotty but overall this is very clean. It also contains 2 red plastic divided plates. Red plastic cups, plastic utensils, and a red and white checker vinyl table cloth(flannel backed and measures 34" square) set(all inside a plastic bag) The reverse side of the tablecloth has an area of of light staining but it doesn't show through and has no odor. There are no maker's marks on the basket or contents. The picnic basket measures about 13-1/4 x 13-1/4" x 8-1/2" high without handles.
