8.5" Vintage Indian Trading Post Souvenir Carved Wood Hand Painted Totem Pole
Hello everyone. I'm listing in this auction a true vintage native American trading post souvenir totem pole, and I'm sure this was sold back in the day in one of the many regional New England road side trading posts as a souvenir. It has no makers marks or labels and it's very simple in contruction, just pin nails and staples, so be sure to check all of my photos. It's a great piece of memorabilia and I absolutely love the old paint decoration. It was hand painted and carved, the base is part of a branch with the bark still on it and it measures just about 8 1/2" tall. It has some very minor paint loss and it's not broken or repaired. This came from a local New England estate this past winter. And it's fresh to the collectors community. It will be a spectacular addition to any collection and to have to proudly ... moredisplay.
