This is bidding for beautiful red and white oak wood that was taken from a deconstructed barn. The barn was from the late 1890's. Was 70 ft by 63ft with 3 levels. It was a pegged barn. Originally purchased to build rustic cabins. Since the barn has been disassembled, the wood has been stored in a large machine shed. Approx 2 1/2 semi loads of beams and rafters. This wood can be used for furniture makers or commercial use. Seller would need to arrange transport. I will help with loading with tractor/endloader.

Dug Soldier's Crucifix w/ Wood From NY Camp- White Oak, Va.
Here's a very unique soldier's religious crucifix we dug in a New York winter camp near White Oak in Stafford. Va. It's a brass framed cross that still has the wood inserts in it, which is highly unusual. These were sold at religious sites and by sutlers. It was claimed that the wood insert was from the"true cross" in the Holy Land. You can see it is held in by brass pins. There is a small spot on back that's worn through from wear. This is a very well done customized re-purposed wood antique tiger oak"coffin top" White sewing machine lid that has been made in to a sewing or storage box. The former owner was an avid seamstress and this was a sentimental item. She used it for storing trays of thread. It has a new solid oak base. And the wood worker cut the sewing machine lid in the middle to make it in to an actual box that opens. It was refinished all over in a wonderful medium/dark oak color stain. There isn't a drawer below even though it may look like it has one. I believe the wood is oak and the commode is very well made. The Commode is in good vintage condition with some scratches. Nicks, and dings. The wood could also use some care to get its original lustre back. There is a white enamel pot with handle. The front facade stays down when lidis down. It also has the inlaid ruler in the top. But somewhat faded. there are some condition issues with it. Measure: Bottom measurement: 17" on straight portion of bottom/ 16 1/2" on curved part of bottom x 5" wide. They are 3 1/2" deep inside. One drawer(with bobbin holder) has a 1" veneer crack(split) on back inside(where it is inside your cabinet) There are a couple other dots of veneer loss. Drawers really in great condition. Please read the description! This auction is for a single BARREL STAVE. NOT a whole barrel! I don't ship whole barrels! If you want a whole barrel, I charge 129 for whole barrels but you must pick them up locally. Staves are 35" long and between 1.5-5" wide- most are around 3.5" This auction is for one used bourbon barrel stave(long skinny piece of wood that makes up the barrel) from large white oak bourbon barrels. The barrels have been used to hold Kentucky bourbon whiskey for the last 2-10 years- they are in great shape and have a dark char on the inside. The inside on each stave can be easily sanded to give a very smooth dark mocha colored patina. I have used these staves for many projects; including wine racks. Chairs, and candle holders. I also use the wood to smoke and cook many differs meats and fish. Simply cut ... morethe wood into 1" square chunks and soak in water for 2-3 hours before adding to heat. Breakfront China cabinet 1920s - white oak dark wood tone
This beautiful breakfront was built in the 1920s by my great grandfather who owned a furniture manufacturing company in Brooklyn. NY. This piece is made of white oak and features original brass finials and grills, original brass handles on all of the drawers, and original brass locks and keys on all of the doors, which can be locked. Additionally, this piece features solid wood rams head feet. This breakfront is composed of two separate pieces, the upper resting on the lower. I am moving and will not able to fit this piece in my new apartment. Measurements: 7 ft tall(84 inches) at its highest point. 6 ft long(72 inches) 22 inches wide at its widest point.
