Let me say first. I know little to nothing about stamps so may miss something important and I do not know how to grade stamps- feel free to email and ask questions or for more pix. I have a number of first day issue to list, see sellers other listings to find the rest. This is: a stamp on a page, probably torn from a book. Is stamped first day issue, dated July 4 1968. This is part of a vintage and historic flag series, called the Hope flag. Page gives some information about the flag, noting that this was the basis of the Rhode Island state flag. The reverse of the page has info on the Taunton Flag. Please note pictures which are included to show condition as well as to display the item. Good condition overall. We have had this in a back room for years. In a box, but has onion skin between one and the next, all are in good condition except ... morefor maybe a curled edge on larger items. There is some age tanning on the back beneath the stamp, probably due to interacting with the glue. I show front of page, closeup, and reverse of page. Stamp measures about 1.5" by 1" looks smaller due to white on white design and square flag on rectangular stamp. Vintage Oak School Table or Counter with 24 Drawers Great Kitchen Island Piece Vintage Collectibles:Furniture:School Cabinet/ Counter(click picture for more details& pictures) This great vintage oak cabinet or counter was rescued from from the Central Middle School in Findlay. Ohio prior to the building being demolished. The school was built in 1923, and this cabinet was located in the third floor science lab. It has 24 drawers( 12 on each side) with the original brass numbered labels and locks, as well as the original oak drawer pulls. There are also 2 doors on each side, and the interior space between them runs the width of the cabinet. There is also a long, narrow drawer in one end. The feet have protective cast brass covers that also allow for the cabinet to be screwed to the floor, if necessary. This piece was made by Berger Manufacturing ... moreof Canton, Ohio. Their name and Berloy trademark is on each drawer label. They manufactured all types of fixtures for schools and industrial use, such as file cabinets and shelving. The numbers on the drawers add a somewhat whimsical touch, as they do not run in numerical sequence. This piece could be used in many ways. Not only as a unique kitchen island, but also in a sewing or crafting room. There's lots of room to work and lay things out on the top, and obviously plenty of storage area. For ease in moving, the top can be removed and the drawer section can be removed from the base/ leg section. Three sections are much easier to move than one large piece. Dimensions: Overall length is 6 feet, width is 47 1/2 inches and height is 36 inches. All drawers have an interior width of 9 3/4 inches and an interior height of 5 inches. 14 of the drawers have an interior length of 19 1/2 inches, 2 drawers are 15 inches long and 8 drawers are 16 inches long. The single drawer on the end has interior dimensions of 20 1/2 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches tall.
