My Ex-Husband abandoned a lot of fire/security alarm items when he moved out. And was actively working for a security/fire alarm company that closed down. This is one of the items he left behind. This was installed and mounted next to the electrical panel box in the house we just moved into. The home was built in 1977. However, according to several electricians(one of them in business for over 50 years-he is around 70) he was even at a loss. So, it could be much older than the home. And if the panel catches fire, the horn goes off.There is a side little window that shows some sort of liquid, and it is still in there.
