USED LANAIR WASTE OIL HEATER PUMP ASSEMBLY with FILTER
I had a Lanair waste oil heater and after a few years the oil pump quit working. It was a crummy pump meant for fuel oil not heavy waste oil. I replaced the weak pump with a hot cooking oil pump out of the Grainger catalog. This pump never gave a bit of trouble and is far superior to the crappy stock pump. I junked the heater after it rusted out. The welding is not pretty but the pump works good. I just tested it. If your pump loses it's prime. This is the cure. Email with questions. I had a Lanair waste oil heater in my shop for many years and enjoyed it. This last season I pulled out the gun. Cleaned it, put in new diaphragms and o-rings etc. Seems like I remember the heater elements are new. But the heater box itself was just too rusted out so I've decided to junk the heater and sell the pieces. If you have a Lanair you need a spare gun. I didn't test the gun so I can't say it'll fire first time. I've always had to tinker with them to get them to work after rebuilding them. I you own a Lanair you know what I mean. You could mount this in a 55 gallon drum and have a cheap waste oil heater. So that's it. Email with any questions. This unit is sold in an as is condition with no return and no guarantee.

Lanair MX 200 waste used oil furnace heater
Hello and welcome to my auction for my like new Lanair waste oil furnace. The furnace model is MX200 200.000 BTU heats up to 5.000-6,000 sq ft of area. I purchased this new about 1.5 years ago and have used it for only one 3 month season. It works great and has served me well but I am moving to a different location and no longer have the need for it. It comes with everything you will need to install it including the plumbing electrical and chimney kit and pictured oil tank etc. 99% of the plumbing is done. You will have to hook up just 1 line. 99% of the electrical is done too. You will have to hook up just 2 wires. I can ship this to the lower 48 states on 2 pallets but pick up is preferred. It was converted back around 2011 to run on waste vegetable oil. Motor oil, or transmission fluid. We always ran it on WVO and it was heating a 9000 square foot building. The whole furnace was striped down, sanded, wire wheeled, and painted inside and out, down to every nut and bolt. It has been sitting for a few years so now it is a little dirty. Everything is kind of manual operation with this furnace. You light it with a plumber's torch, and you turn the blower on after you feel it is up to temperature. The oil pump is a cast iron cam gear pump run by a 12 volt gear reduction motor. Most everything you see in the pictures is included. The second video shows it all together and running on vegetable oil. This furnace has dual blower wheel fans in the lower area and the fans are powered by a 110 volt electrical motor. There is no temperature sensor to turn the blower on when the burner gets up to temperature so we always turned the blower on manually. There is a spot to put a standard furnace temperature sensor if you want the blower to come on automatically. But I do not have one to include with this sale. There is a wooden box built on the one side of the furnace for air intake. Currently it draws air from the room below and there is no filter. This is a Clean Burn CB 500 Waste Oil Heater with 12.614.9 hours on it. It comes with the oil pickup tube and I believe the oil pump. I purchased the unit about a year ago to use in my shop, but after getting it home I realized it is too large of a unit to use in my garage. The gentleman that I purchased it from said he used it in his shop for a couple years before he switched over to propane heat. I do not know for sure if it does work, because I have never seen it work myself. This is going to be a local pickup only, but I can help tailgate load it. Basically the key ingredient of a build your own waste oil gun. Pressurized fuel oil guns will not burn waste oils reliably. If at all, even though there are people on ebay selling plans to convert them. Compressed air nozzles are the only way it works, I had tried other arrangements but they didn't work reliably at all. See ebay seller"donna-mike" and their creative plans for sale that allegedly convert a standard Becket to used motor oil. Wow where do I begin the insanity of those plans. The fittings are 1/8 female NPT. The kind that spins. The pipes off the preheater assembly in the furnace actually locate and mount the nozzle assembly inside the gun. There are 4 wires. 2 for the temp switch and 2 for the heater. You rig them in one circuit, in series, so the switch turns the element on and off. The assembly is new. The nozzle and electrode are used. I never installed this item. I bought this item for a DIY project, to see if I could mount it in a Becket AFG or similar gun. Model Miser 200 Waste Oil Heater. The tag picture on the back indicates it it a Miser 200. This was only in service 3 or 4 years at local business then the business closed up. It has been in storage since then. About 6 years. It was in good working condition when the business closed. All the parts and pieces are here. Everything looks to be in very good condition. There is a stand that goes underneath to get it up off the floor or to set it on top of a tank(the stand is in the photos) There is an inline oil filter. Also as you can see in the pictures. There is an electrical oil pump that goes into the top of an oil drum or tank. There is no tank or barrel included. ... moreThat pump plugs into the wiring harness on the unit through a 4-lug plug. The inline filter and tank pump are shown sitting on the stand in the photos. There is a thermostat control to regulate the heat output level. This model does need an air source as there is a air pressure regulator on the back by the burner unit. In the photos. I have also included a picture of the burner unit's label. Some of the photos show the louvered back open and the 2 doors open. This all looks good in there. There is alot of usable life left to this waste oil heater. The larger bottom door is the access to occasionally take out the ash that forms. There is a white-ash colored movable heat shield in there that goes in front of the door while the heater is in use.That heat shield is part of a multi-piece heat shield within that burn chamber. That multi-piece heat shield was rebuilt this last summer. I have also since cleaned out that burn chamber(the photos show some ash left in there but that is now cleaned out) and I also powerwashed it within. The burn chamber looks very good. No cracks or warpage; the metal all looks very good in there. I have a digital copy of the model 240/ 200 manual
