Rite water heating boiler 1.2MBTU Natural Gas
This auction is for a used Rite 1.2MBTU Natural Gas fired water heating boiler. This boiler is currently set up to heat water to 180 degrees F. I purchased this from a large building that used this to heat water for building heat. I intended to use this myself. Not realizing that in CA the Low NOX requirement applies to used equipment placed into a new operation! Don't ask, I don't get it either! Needless to say, this boiler as is will NOT pass low NOX requirements. It was sold to me as"in working condition. I have had it for about a year, but I have not tried to fire it up. It was built in 1993 and has the oxidized paint and rust to show for it. Included is a new in the box FIREYE MicroM flame safeguard controls. This is HEAVY! I do not know how much is weighs. This Slant fin boiler is in great condition and is only about two years old. We decided to upgrade the house to central air and do not need the boiler anymore.
