Heater is in good shape with one dent in the outer cover and a pushed in area on the back(both could possibly be pushed back out) Could use a cleaning on the inside parts. The cloth on the cord is frayed. But none of the wires are sticking out. The Wesix Heater Co. was based in San Fran, Seattle, and L.A. Fostoria, Ohio, and Toronto Ontario Canada, has a round radiant coil behind them metal face place, with a power source of 600 watts, 110-120 volts, with a braided wrapped cloth cord.

The heater is a self contained portable unit that includes a fuel tank and only requires a 120V supply plug. There are many uses for this heater due to it being portable. Easy to hookup and having many useful features. It would be great on construction jobs, in warehouses, temporary tents, emergency heat, in garages or barns, around the farm and more. It could also be used an an alternative to traditional fuel oil fired forced air furnaces. This unit was originally built for the US Army so it is very high quality and built to last. The unit is easy to move around with the flip-down wheels and hand crank jack. If the heater is being used inside you would simply pipe the exhaust outside. The air inlet ... moreand outlet flanges originally had large flexible pipes hose-clampled to them to direct the inlet and outlet air. If using the heater inside you may not even need any ducting. Another feature of the heater is a fuel selection switch which either uses the onboard 14 gallon tank or an external fuel source that can be connected to the heater with fuel lines. The heater has an onboard control panel and a corded remote panel. Both panels feature Co2 detectors. Off/heat/vent switches, indicator lights and the remote panel even features a thermostat control. The vent postiion on the switch only operates the blower for circulating the air. We tested the unit and it works well. Overall the unit is in good used condition with only some minor scratches and a few small dings. The interior of the unit is in near new condition and is very clean. This unit does not include the right angle exhaust elbow and 4 foot exhaust pipe that normally comes with these heaters. The exhaust outlet is simply a 2 1/4 inch automotive exhaust tube that can be purchased at any auto parts store. Up for auction is an antique cast iron water heater stand. This great find came from an old farm in historic New England. It has old white paint. Chipped paint.but gives it a"folky" Shabby look. Of course, it definitely could be repainted if you so desired. It measures 18.5" tall, the bottom base is 8" in diameter and the top is 12" in diameter. On the stand it is marked. But we're unable to make out what it says. Probably just needs a bit of cleaning or polishing to read it. This piece is solid. Nothing loose or missing. Nothing repaired at all that we can tell, and we've looked it over very closely. The underneath is a little dirty and would just take some steel wool to clean it up, but I didn't want to mess with the base. This is a great piece that would look awesome as a table base. I say very good condition for age. 22 1/2 inches tall and weighs about 27 pounds. Dated what looks like Pat' NOV 15 1881. Shaped like it housed a bell. Top is not the original its a pier 1 imports coaster of some kind but sits and looks good. Signed ABENDROTH BROS. NY. Spray painted black at one time. The two nut/bolts look froze.
