Vintage Dumore No. 44 Tool Maker Motor
Up for Auction is a Vintage Dumore No. 44 Tool Maker Motor. I used a double ended Male power supply to test the motor- It works fine. And spins free. As you can see from the photos. This motor is set up for with a Female outlet, not with a wire and a Male Plug. No On/ Off Switch- It's a Plug and Play set up. It's not a pretty piece. But it works. Use it as is. Use it as a spare. Rebuild it. And return it to it's original condition. I have a 5 Day Handling Time Frame as a buffer. Sometimes, due to time constraints, I just can't make it to the USPS before that. Great vintage wooden storage case with tray. I assume it is a Post Grinder Motor and parts. Dumore Company Racine. Wisconsin. Dumore Cat No. K11, 6069, 711, 2.7 Amps, 115 Volts, Electric Motor. It appears to be in great looking used condition. Finish and surface wear anyway. Some scratches, scuffs and marks. Stored for years. Maybe from one of the old GM or Delco Plants in Anderson, Indiana. SOLD AS IS, AS FOUND. For parts or restoration only. Untested and I think it is incomplete. Parts and pieces in tray included. Case is about 11 x 11 x 14 inches. Very heavy electric motor, clean cord. The rubber piece is worn from storage and age. I would think this piece should be replaced. I have no way to test the motor because of the plug end. I can spin the pulley no problem. Slight click one direction and slight squeak the other. VINTAGE DUMORE HIGH SPED DUPLEX FLEXIBLE SHAFT GRINDER WOOD CARVER MODEL 8066 Description Vintage Dumore flexible shaft grinder model 8066. The grinder powers up and turns rapidly when you apply pressure to the chuck. The plate on the unit says it takes up to 2 inch wheels. This came from the estate of a wood carver. I don't know much about the old Dumore grinders but it may be used for wood carving as well as grinding. The grinder appears to be a heavy duty and a well made tool. It has the hanger attached, the cloth shaft covering shows a little fray but not bad. The grinder appears complete except for the chuck key. Thanks for looking.

Vintage Dumore Company Duplex Grinder Box(only) with Attachments The box of attachments has the“DUMORE Precision Tools” label on the top; however. It is almost worn off from use& age. This only has the wooden box with inside accessories; it DOES NOT include the grinder. The box measures 10 ¼ inches x 6 ¾ inches x 3 ¾ inches. This is an original vintage Dumore wooden box featuring dovetailed ends. It is made of a light colored wood. On the inside top cover there is a paper with all the different types of attachments and what their purchase price is. Ranging anywhere from.45 to $4.10. Also, there is an“updated” list that I found on top of the original paper. Inside the box there are more than 40 attachments, ranging from a soft polishing tool, to brushes, to grinding stones, etc. There are 2(TWO) inner boxes within the wooden ... morebox. The opened box has more accessories and the smallest box includes several sanding disks& barrel sanders. Please look at pictures! These items came from an estate sale.
