BURR KING Belt Grinder- Model 482- 2" x 48" Belt- 1HP/120V/1PH This machine was purchased November 2012 for $2.041.00. It comes with the optional dust collector scoop for hookup to a dust collector system or shop vac. I laser engrave stainless steel dog tags and bought the machine to create a brushed finish look which did not work out to my satisfaction. The grinder has hardly been used, maybe 4-5 hours. The only belt used was a 3M Surface Conditioning Belt which makes almost no dust so the grinder is super clean. I do have a number of abrasive belts that will be included. The photo shows it sitting on a fume extractor which I hooked up to it to collect any dust there might be, it would not be any good for wood dust. It does not come with the grinder. Hi. I have for sale a very nice burr king 960–250 belt grinder. It is a awesome machine for sharpening knives. Chisels, lawn mower blades, deburring, shaping etc. I am also including all the extra belts pictured. The tension knob is broken but I do have a new knob I believe you will need to have it fitted and may need a spring and spiraled rivet. It's no big deal and still works fine without the knob but I would suggest fixing the tension knob the right way. It was my late grandfathers machine I only selling because I am buying a house and have to liquidate some toys unfortunately. Burr King model 1400 internal grinding sanding attachment with idler wheel
Burr King 1400 internal grinding attachment. New these are close to $600. without the interchangeable arms It is missing the contact wheel at the tip of the interchangeable arm. Burr King could probably repair this or a new arm assembly could be purchased for $120-$150 with your choice of width/diameter They provide a number of different diameters and widths for the contact arm wheels. Comes with the 2" x 3" idler wheel that replaces the main 8" contact wheel to use this attachment. This idler wheel has a slight groove worn in the middle. But doesn't effect tracking or operation. The unit itself is in nice condition and is well made. The last picture shows a different one of these 1400's mounted on another Burr King 960 grinder I have. I do not need two of these. But I have been impressed with how well they perform ... morein tight areas.
