Star BG-2 tool grinding attachment - spin index collet fixture, Agathon?
Up for sale is an attachment for a Star BG-2 cutter grinder(basically a Japanese copy of an Agathon grinder) This appears to be for grinding round tools and allows the tool being ground to be angled. Rotated and indexed in 90 degree increments. It takes Schaublin brand collets, and comes with 12 of them(see photos) They appear to be W20 collets. This attachment is quite rare and almost never turns up in the used marketplace on it's own! If you already have a Star BG-2. This is your opportunity to get this attachment! I am not sure. But it is possible that this will fit an Agathon. Please note that it's the Buyer's responsibility to verify specifications and application. All I know is that it came with, and fits, a Star BG-2.
