This is a lectric Grind Center. It is made in the USA. It has a headstock and tailstock that are adjustable; has a variable speed. 1800 rpm, 1/15 hp Baldor motor( not the typical two speeds that are obtained by use of a motor pulley that is found on most lectric grind centers such as on HARIG style and ATCO style) to obtain 180 rpm or360rpm; a vernier for adjustment of a slight sine angle- picture 2 below(not typical on other brands) built in diamond holder with a HARIG NIB included at the tailstock for dressing of grinding wheel; 6 plus inches between centers; two extra centers are included and may fit. Get that super fine finish with the 1800rpm motor. SOTTOF SALES Two Identical fixtures. One in pretty nice shape, one with some rust. The nicer one has both centers and a tooth rest as well as the red mounting clamp. The other is missing a center and the tooth rest that slides in a dovetail on either end of fixture. Both ends of fixture have adjustment for taper and when fully extended they have about a 8" or 8 1/2" capacity, the maximum swing is 3 3/4" well made older grinding fixtures, no apparent names I can find. Braillon 6 X 12 Magnetic Chuck Surface Grinder Machinist Tool Grinding Fixture
Nice French mag chuck by Braillon. 6"x12" Actual item pictured. Has oil coating on it that seems to clean off with wd-40. I am leaving it on to protect surfaces. Hougen Rotabroach Grinder Sharpning Fixture Tool & Cutter Bridgeport K O Lee
This is a used grinder for sharpning Hougen and other brands of Rotabroaches. I have never used this or seen it used. Someone has adapted a Bosch electric grinder to it in place of the orginal spindle. I have no idea of what the orginal spindle looked like. The Bosch grinder works good and is model#1215; 115 vt. 60 hz, 4.6 amp, 27,000 rpm and has a 1/4" collet for holding shank mounted grinding wheels. The tool/work holding fixture uses a H8 collet and there is a Hardinge H8 1 1/4" collet included. The work holding fixture slides freely in and out on two ball bushing shafts as the picture shows. Shipping is possible if you carrier will handle it uncrated. I will place it on a pallet and secure it in/down with 2x4's and the spindle will be removed and packed in a plastic case/box.
