It is a repainted unit that is mounted to a pallet, and was marked as a"spare" and we believe it is a rebuilt spare particularly as there are no punch-outs missing in the conduit box, and as it had been repainted, evidencing that it had not been used since rebuilding. It definitely operates on 3phase electric, but it is missing the factory label, so we do not have the factory model, power, horsepower, speed, or ratings. A paper label in the conduit box describes connection for 3phase, DV, 9 Lead grinders or buffers with Manual Start. It does not have a power switch, so we believe it was meant for pedestal mounting. It came from a company that operated their equipment on 208-230 ... more3phase. And was using other 208-230vac 3phase grinders, so we are assuming this one operates on 208-230 3ph as well. Due to the size, dimensions, and weight(120 lbs) we believe it is a model 1215W with a 2 HP motor. The motor housing measures 8" in diameter and the actual motor housing portion is 9-1/4" long. Overall it is 30" long to the ends of both spindles. It is 9-1/2" from the bottom of the base to the center of the spindles.
