Up for bid is one( 1) PFLUEGER PROGRESS FLY FISHING REEL made of brass. This reel has the numbers 80 on the reel seat and seems to be in working order. The knob is made of wood and it is a pretty nice looking reel. I don't know alot about it other than it's been in the family home for over 40 years. Please look at the photos as they tell the story better than I. The spool seems to have a bit of a wobble. Not much,but it's there all the same. Today we are offering a lot of 4 possibly vintage reels. Three of them are definitely made by Pflueger. There is one Pflueger Medalist reel which has'Made In USA' faintly stamped on the center boss. There is one Pflueger Progress reel which has'80' stamped on the foot and has the bulldog trademark symbol on it. There is one Pflueger Sal-Trout 1554 reel with has'Made In U.S.A. stamped on it. 40' is written on its foot in sharpie. Lastly there is one small reel which does not have any brand stamped on it. But does have'Made In USA' stamped on the foot underneath some sticker residue. This is the 80 yard reel.The reel face is 2-1/2" in diameter and will hold most any light trout weight line.
