What i have for sale here is a rather old(1950) and rare fly fishing reel with the original spool of line. This comes with the original box and the original papers. As you can see from the pictures the box does have some wear and tear on it from storage over the years. A few very light surface scratches on the face as well but nothing major by any means! Both reels have bright green anodized finish showing very little wear- please enlarge photos. The larger No. 85 is spooled with a vintage fly line. This is a lot of 5 fly fishing reels. Three of them are vintage automatic retrieve reels. There is a South Bend 1133A regular fly fishing reel in good condition. The south bend is not automatic. There is also a Shakespeare Omni 55 self retrieving fly reel that was made in Hong Kong. It has a sticker that says Berkkey Specialist L-6-F. The three automatic retrieve reels are: Green Shakespeare Silent Tru-Art Automatic No. 1837 Model HN made in USA- Brown Wright& McGill Co Denver. Colorado ECD made in USA- Perrine Mfg Co. Patented, Minneapolis, Minn,see picture#3, back of the reel has the model number, 85,reel returns fast and smooth! Here is a nice Perrine fly fishing reel by Pemco. Made about 1955 and is model#55. The fly fishing line looks new along with the reel, possible in storage since 1955. Surface is worn with tarnish/scratches/scuffs/stains/missing green paint/dirty Line in it appears yellowed. I don't know if it works but the spinning part does click when turned. Please see pics.
