This centrifuge was in like new condition. And working perfectly, until it was knocked on the floor. As shown in the pictures it sustained 2 dents. If I try to turn it on the silver tubes clang against the inside of the dent, or dents. What a shame! It is being offered for parts or Repair Only, NO RETURNS. Clay Adams Dynac Centrifuge Bench/ Table Top Model No. 0101(420101) with 12-Place. Fixed Angle Rotor& 12 Stainless Tubes The unit was purchased at a business closing and is in great working order. I have run the centrifuge for approximately 10- 12 minutes at varying speeds. All without problems. The electric brake worked on all settings. The motor is very quite and there is no wobble/shaking while the unit is running. There is some cosmetic wear— to the base. Please note the dent on the front and some small scuffs/scratches. The lid needs a new lock latch, but is not cracked or showing any other problems. Also, there is very, very minor oxidation to the unit base, but it is merely cosmetic. The fixed angle rotor is rock solid and comes with all 12 stainless tubes, which have been thoroughly cleaned. I can’t find any issues with the main ... morebearing(no leaks) either. None of these scratches or dents are affecting the unit in anyway. I did forget to include the rotor retaining nut, but rest assured that it is OEM and included. Another relic from our cabinet of curiosities: An ugly. Used centrifuge that still works pretty well. Clay Adams Model CT1004(I think) SN 28948. Hand-me down equipment from the University of Akron to our high school, and now being passed along again. I fired it up and it spun smoothly with minimal noise, turned up about halfway(probably about 2000 rpm according to the markings on the dial- see photo) All six heavy brass spin tubes are included(about 3/4" dia) though perhaps they are just carriers for glass tubes that slip inside. Drum diameter is 10.5" The three suction cup feet are still in working shape. The power cable, though, is pretty well shot and needs to be replaced before routine use, but that's an easy fix.
