This is a semi-clean. Great working Beckman TJ-6RS Centrifuge and TJ-R Refrigeration Unit combo! I tested the Centrifuge to#1. Power on. And light works on the power button. 2. Door lock works properly. 3. Timer also works properly including the hold option vrs timer only. 4. Rotor speed control switch works 1-10 as its intended. The RPM gauge itself only goes up to 3.000 RPM on the gauge itself, but the rotor/ motor does get up to its full intended speed, Once the rpm gauge gets to 3,000 it does not go up any further on the gauge, but you can still keep increasing the speed of the rotor/ motor with the speed switch to its full speed.There is a small chip of plastic missing on the Speed switch knob(but it still works fine and you can still see the pointer. Also, There is a rust spot on the front edge just under the lid that is clearly visible(see ... morepic. Also, There are no inserts in the Rotor buckets. Its just the rotor and buckets included. The Refrigeration unit also works! Compressor cuts on and runs great. I ran the units together for about 20min. and the centrifuge compartment afterwards was cold. There is come significant wear on the outside of the item that includes scuff marks. Scratches, rust and paint chips but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are all in good condition. The internal chamber is in good condition as well. the rotor and rotor buckets are in good condition. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We turned the item to 5 minutes and set the speed to the maximum. The item reached a total of 3000 RPM. We then removed the rotor and set the item to the exact same settings and the item reached a max speed of 6200 RPM. I see a TH-4 rotor as cheap as twenty bucks currently on ebay. But they aren’t worth much without the buckets to go with it. The only centrifuge I know that the TH-4 fits is the Beckman TJ-6. I have a TJ-6, I think it has a rotor. Will check to make sure these are a fit before I ship. OK. To recap. Four buckets. Two are 543 grams. Two are 537 grams. Plus 12 inserts as pictured.
