The vial measures about 2" long and about 1 ¼" across the pendant. The interior of the bail is marked RAC 925. This piece is from Taxco. Mexico, produced by the artisan that is noted in Hougart's book on Mexican Silver marks and used the initials"RAC" The weight of the piece is 15.8 grams, 10.2 dwt or.56 oz. Vintage India Perfume/Oil Potion Vial/Flask Pendant with chain necklace
Offered is a lovely. Little, vintage flask pendant hanging on chain. By the script on it, I believe it's from India, but am not completely certain. If you have more information on the piece, I welcome your input. I do not know how old it is, but it was given to my mother some 25 years ago and was considered vintage at the time. It is made from silver colored metal and has fantastic detail in the metal with a few red and blue stones attached as well a large translucent green stone on front. The correscponding green stone on the reverse side is missing- see photos. It measures about 2" tall and 1 3/4" wide. It is strung on a silver-colored chain. It is in excellent condition, although the wand/stopper piece will come out easily if turned upside down.

Historic Artifact Donner Party Murphy Cabin Wood Relic Vial
A rare. Historic, early California pioneer relic from the ill-fated Donner Party, a group of California homesteaders who in 1846 found themselves trapped by snowfall as they crossed the Sierra Nevadas into California. They were caught in an early season storm, and then ran out of options. Having left most essential supplies in the desert before reaching the mountains, the group soon found itself faced with starvation and resorted to cannibalism for survival. Over 40 members perished, over half the group. This relic is a small glass bottle, 2" tall with wax seal, containing a quantity of wood remnants from the"Murphy Cabin" at Donner Lake, the main cabin in which members of the group huddled through the winter. Two printed tags dated 1893 remain attached, one with sworn certification of the authenticity of the relic, the second ... moreindicating that proceeds from the sale of these relics, at $1.00 each, would be put to the construction of a monument to the Donner party. Description: Beautiful antique sterling vial necklace with a dangling ball. There is a little rectangle for a monogram on each side of the vial but this piece has never been monogrammed. The vial measures 2 inches high X 1 inch wide. The dauber screws out. It is marked STERLING on top of the stopper. This necklace still has its original slider. I believe it is some type of braided Victorian cord. The sterling silver slider on the cord measures 1/4 inch long X 3/16 inch wide. The cord itself measures a total of about 30 inches long.
