This is a Bio-Rad Ultramark Microplate Imaging System I received this and a lot of instruments from what I can tell it does turn on and it is used it has scratches on the outer body otherwise it's in good condition. It does go through its diagnostic upon startup. I will give you 14 days to the time it arrives to you to make sure it does work properly if u need more time please let know via phone or email. As the TH-4 is a four position rotor I’m not sure why you would want(or why I have) six. But just in case you do here they are! Again. They are being sold in lots of two. So if you don’t want all six you can instead buy just two or four. The price does NOT buy you all six even though they are all pictured. As these are for one specific Beckman rotor. If you have that rotor and need the microplate carriers for it there should be no reason to need to return them. I will note that one of the six does not have the little guide things on the sides. I am guessing that is to make it easier to hang on the rotor. No big deal but you might have to add some weight to that one to balance things out. When I initially powered this unit on. It whet through self calibration with no error codes. However, the unit sat a few months on the shelf in the box and when I went to power it on again, I received the error code# 323. This means the Zenon Lamp is weak and will need replacing. I was told by an MDS technician that sometimes, when a unit sits idle too long dust collects on the lamp and can cause this error code to register. So, I would say best case scenario, the unit just needs internal cleaning and calibration and worst case scenario, the lamp will need replacing which costs about $600.
