Physically, there is some staining on the inside cover and the door latch is broken off but still useable but you have to hold the door down or tape it down in order for it to spin. The safety lock keeps the unit closed until it is powered on, and releases the door when the timer is expired and the spinning stops. When the momentary button is pressed(for short spin times) the unit functions properly and I've learned that you must cycle the power off/on to release the door at this point. TIP: The door can also be opened in power off or'failure mode' by inserting a straightened paperclip into the small hole on the left side of the unit. Revolutionary Science microcentrifuge with microtainers
Up for bids is my Revolutionary Science microcentrifuge. Operates in pulse. 6,000 rpm, and 10,000 rpm modes. Never really used the thing, seems to work well. Occasionally acts like lid is off and won't start without taking lid off and putting it back on. Not sure why, I'm guessing it's the safety switch that engages with the lid. Easy fix, or override switch, or just take the lid off and put back on(which is what I did) Anywho, it is what it is. Sold as-is, no returns. Payment expected within 5 business days or I will relist.
