The lid prongs miss the slots where they are supposed to insert by about 1/2" Because I cannot close the lid. I cannot conduct any tests on the unit. The unit powers up and displays eppendorf information. As seen in photos. The plastic on the lid is cracked by the bent hinge and around the back up the side. About 6 inches, as seen in photos. The side of the centrifuge where the lid plastic is cracked is scraped. As seen in photos. The lid doesn't stay up when opened. Which means the gas spring device that is supposed to hold the lid up must be replaced. Also. Rubber foot pad under front left side of unit is missing. Eppendorf ThermoStat Plus 5352! 1.5 ml No Reserve
Up for auction is an Eppendorf ThermoStat plus model 5352. It is in good physical condition. Just slight signs of use. There is a small strip on sticker residue on the top, but it does not effect the unit in anyway. I received this from a company cleanout. I do not know how to properly use this unit, but I did plug it in and it powers right up. I tried programming the unit to a high temp and for 15 minutes, and hit start. It was counting down, but I never felt the unit get hot. I don't know if this means the unit has a bad heating element, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong. Here are two surplus eppendorf pipettes. Both are adjustable 10ul to 100ul. Unsure of the ability to function as I don't have tips to test. Both appear to function properly as I have operated the button on top and the function to expel the tip works. Note the one does have electrical tape around the top so it maybe questionable especially from an accuracy standpoint. Condition is unknown on both of these. Ask questions. Check my other auctions.
