Another relic from our cabinet of curiosities: An ugly. Used centrifuge that still works pretty well. Clay Adams Model CT1004(I think) SN 28948. Hand-me down equipment from the University of Akron to our high school, and now being passed along again. I fired it up and it spun smoothly with minimal noise, turned up about halfway(probably about 2000 rpm according to the markings on the dial- see photo) All six heavy brass spin tubes are included(about 3/4" dia) though perhaps they are just carriers for glass tubes that slip inside. Drum diameter is 10.5" The three suction cup feet are still in working shape. The power cable, though, is pretty well shot and needs to be replaced before routine use, but that's an easy fix.
