The unit could use a good cleaning. The Centrifuge powers-up and I was able to set the temperature to-10°C and have the rotor spin as fast as 3770 RPM. When I first powered the unit on the temperature reading was about 16°C. All functions work properly. The centrifuge runs at a steady 2800 rpm as indicated on the needle as well as at all settings in between. The refrigeration unit works properly and achieves its rated max low temp. The sight glass is missing from the top of the lid. That is why you see in the photos the temporary seal we formed using a piece of sheet insulation with one of the buckets on top in order to test the coldness inside the centrifuge. There is tape and tape residue across the surface of the housing as well as what appears to be some corrosion. There are also light marks and scratches from previous use. The timer knob is missing and will need to be replaced and the open switch is cracked but functional. We have tested this unit and it appears to be in good working condition.
