Up for auction is a Beckman GPR refrigerated centrifuge. This item came to us as part of a surplus lot. The unit came from a working environment and has seen a lot of previous use. There is tape and tape residue across the surface of the housing as well as what appears to be some corrosion. There are also light marks and scratches from previous use. The timer knob is missing and will need to be replaced and the open switch is cracked but functional. We have tested this unit and it appears to be in good working condition. The centrifuge powers on. Spins, and cools. Due to lack of equipment we cannot calibrate this machine and are unable to verify it's exact measurements. Beckman TH-4 Rotor Buckets& 12 Inserts For sale- a set of four Centrifuge Buckets for the Beckman TH-4 Rotor. Plus a dozen inserts that fit these buckets. I see a TH-4 rotor as cheap as twenty bucks currently on ebay. But they aren’t worth much without the buckets to go with it. The only centrifuge I know that the TH-4 fits is the Beckman TJ-6. I have a TJ-6, I think it has a rotor. Will check to make sure these are a fit before I ship. OK. To recap. Four buckets. Two are 543 grams. Two are 537 grams. Plus 12 inserts as pictured. Two of which are new, sealed in the bag. If you have a TH-4 rotor this is quite a deal at the asking price. So most likely I am not going to be entertaining offers any time soon. Sold as is.
