This is a beautiful vintage set of Etalon 6" Vernier Calipers with 1/1000" 1/128" adjustable scales. Made in Switzerland. Manufactured by Etalon. Which is now owned by Tesa. Excellent condition. Includes the original Etalon wooden box. Very. Very nice tool. Slides smooth. Jaws are sharp and show no light or gaps when held up to a light. Includes the original Etalon box. Which is in very good condition, with only some light shelf wear. The clasp and the hinge of the wood box are tight. No name or etchings on the calipers or the wood box. I honestly see NO signs of use. Please notice. These calipers have adjustable scales. This means. That the jaws can be reground, if it ever becomes necessary, and the scales adjusted to recalibrate the calipers-protecting your investment. Note also, the adjustable scales are not just sliding ... moreplates. They are separate blocks of stainless steel. Machined to look as if they part of the main caliper body block. Really nice workmanship; please look at the pics from the side. I have replaced the original foam in the box with some high quality foam that is a bit denser. Batteries not included:

Up for bid is a Scherr Tumico 24" venier caliper precision measuring tool. It is in the original wood case. The caliper is in good condition with a few minor scratches and it has some adhesive on one spot. The case is marked up as one would expect from being stored in a shop. Scherr Tumico USA 16 Series Outside Vernier Caliper w/wood Case 12" 36mm 16-0185
Tool is in overall very good condition but has"ER04 001" etched in two places. Case has stains(that should be easily sanded off) and some typical wear on edges. See photos. I strive for 100% positive feedback and my eBay reputation is important to me. Is in good to fair condition and looks like its been stored for some time and does have staining and darkening of the steel and some rust on the knurled knobs. I could not get the adjusting screw knob to turn and the jaws to move. This caliper is graduated on one side in Metric to 32cm and on the other side in English to 13 inches. The original wooden fitted Starrett case is in very good condition with both its hinges and latches complete and intact, and only minor wear and age. This is a lot of three Mitutoyo calipers. There is a"MN 84" in the original wooden box. A"MN 85" with no box and a 501-185 with the original box and sheath. All are in excellent condition.
