An older Brown and Sharpe dial caliper. 9" in length. It's marked 599-579-5 Swiss Made Shock proof. Stainless tempered. In good working condition. Doesn't appear to have seen much use. The gauge slides very smoothly. Previous owner etched his name in the back and marked on the wood box. The box has some surface scratches and a couple of chips, but overall very good condition. Brown & Sharpe 6" Shock Proof Dial Caliper with Case 599-579-5 Black Face
You are bidding on a Brown and Sharpe 6" Dial Caliper model 599-579-5. This shock proof caliper is made of tempered stainless steel in Switzerland. This caliper is in excellent condition. The clear lens over the dial is scratched. But still usable. There are also some engravings on the back. This caliper works great. Dial lock and slide lock work effortlessly. Caliper returns to zero and is very accurate. Original case included, it latches well. Not much else to say, a pretty solid caliper. Lucky winner pays actual shipping.
