This caliper appears to be in good used functional condition, though it does show average signs of wear& tear from previous usage. There are scuffs& scratches on the entire caliper, especially on the dial which has some deeper scratches though it does not appear to be cracked. Please also note that there is some thick gunk near the dial that allows the caliper to open& close, it seemed to ... morestick a little bit when I pulled it back& forth though I think it would be fine after a good cleaning. The case also has some scuffs/scratches/stains on it, but will still protect the caliper as intended. There is a sticker on the back of the caliper showing that it is not due for calibration again until 8/13, though we purchased this item 2nd hand& do not know how accurate that sticker is.
