This was used at the old gas stations and set in between the pumps to help advertise the oils for sale. It holds exactly 20 1qt oil cans. 9 on each side. And 2 sit in the end as you can tell from the pictures. Overall good condition, shows signs of age with some patina and surface wear, but I haven't ever seen one better than this! Measures approximately 26" tall by 14" wide by 16" deep. A very cool way to display your can collection, and you dont see this one with the nice chrome rack system for sale very often! Vintage Southwest Pump Company from Bonham Texas Inspection Advertising Paper Holder! We got this out of an old Gulf Gas and Oil Company Distribution Center that we purchased and picked. We bought two of them and they were jamed packed with merchandise from all the way back to the 40-80s when they closed. This would have been at the front of the gas station displaying their inspection records on the pumps they were using. Out front the station had two soutwest pumps from the 50s. So this inspection record holder was from the 50s and made for those two pumps. It is a rare and unusual find! It does need to be repainted and restored. You can leave it like it is though. This old Mobil display sign measures approximately 17 inches in diameter. All are in near mint condition and never been used. This is just one item from a large lot of unused. MINT paper advertising that was found in a garage from a Mobil gas station that was closed over 30 years ago. All the advertisement pieces were to be used at the Mobil stations as window displays. They were never displayed and are like new. They all have the normal folds that were in them when delivered. All pieces are from the 1940s or 50s. It stands 16 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches wide. The base of the machine is BLUE. On one side of the base it says FULL SERVICE in SILVER letters and on the other side of base it says FILLING STATION in SILVER letters. The middle section of the machine is WHITE with BLUE stripes. On both sides of the machine is a MOBILGAS SPECIAL shield and below the shield is a MOBIL OIL logo with a large PEGASUS. The front of the globe has a SOCONY VACUUM MOBIL LUBRICATION logo on the top and below that is a large MOBIL GAS SHIELD with a PEGASUS. Great condition oil pump system.12 volt GPM is 2.5 and PSI is rated at 300 but bypassed at 55 PSI.It certainly is a powerful unit and very well built.Could easily be used for any auto marine agriculture or industrial application.Weight of motor and pump assembly is 7 lbs 4.4 oz and measures 9 long x 4 1/5 wide x 4 3/4 tall.Gears are parachoid ring and rotor with variable clearance compensator for super high vacuum on priming. Electric motor is 3900 RPM w/ 60 amp capability but fused at 30 amps.Inlet and output ports are for 1/4"npt.
