WVO WMO centrifuge waste motor vegetable oil raw power Bio Diesel Biodiesel
I am selling one of my WMO WVO centrifuges. It is based on a pressure cooker design. I am using a raw power centrifuge bowl( coupled to a 3450 rpm motor which is driven by a Fincor VFD(variable frequency drive) to spin the centrifuge at 6000 rpm. I built two of these and one was for a friend who changed his mind. I have some photos attached of the build of the unit for sale as well as some youtube videos of mine in action. These work very well at cleaning oil. All the parts are used so it is sold as is but guaranteed not DOA. The motor/vfd will require 220 volt single phase ac in order to operate. This is common in most garages or dryer hookups. It will come with the motor. Bowl and legs detached but I will include all the hardware, VFD manual and some instructions on how to use the centrifuge. 6000RPM WVO WMO Oil Centrifuge +Booster 230V WVO Designs Barely Used motor oil
This is a barely used WVO Designs 6000 RPM Centrifuge. The exact setup that I am selling here. Costs $1597 new from WVO Designs. Their Ebay item number is: 281206643653. I bought this centrifuge about a year ago and centrifuged approximately 200 gallons of oil. It works very well: it is very well balanced(no vibrations even at 6000 RPM) and it pulls the finest particles out of the oil. I am selling it because I started looking into all the certifications that would be required to keep large quantities of oil on my property for what I wanted to do. And it was more trouble that I was willing or had time to deal with. As long as you aren't storing large volumes of oils/fuels on your property, you don't need any special certifications. This model has the extra triangle shaped metal piece that bolts into the middle of the centrifuge wheel ... moreto speed up and economize the oil cleaning process. That wheel has 3 bolts that hold it in, and one of the bolts goes in a little loosely. It might be a good idea to tap a hole for the next size bolt and replace the bolt. This centrifuge plugs into normal household outlets and runs very quietly. Up for sale is a used but in great shape homemade waste oil centrifuge filtration processor.This is a ready to go processor all you need is some pre bag filters. Waste oil and 87 octane gas to thin out the oil.I am ataching a video link to get an idea on how it works.This unit can clean about 45 gallons of waste motor oil in about 8 to 10 hours I add 10 to 1 87 octane gas to thin out the oil.The centrifuge is a high pressure rotary centrifuge that runs on 90 psi oil pressure via BMW power steering gear pump the barrel has a 1500w 120v heater in it and the whole system runs on 120v 20a power.The lid has a 1/2 pickup pipe that runs to about an inch from the bottom of the barrel.I pre filter all of my oil with 50 micron bag filters that I get off of ebay for about 5 dollars a bag. If I get my oil for free it cost me about 23 dollars to mack ... more52 gallons of black diesel.Thats the cost of 7 gallons of gas to thin out the fuel. Dieselcraft Centrifuge WVO WMO
The centrifuge comes with a pump and pressure gauge. The pump is a power steering pump from a honda and works great. Just a regular 120v electric motor to power the pump. Great setup for a 55 gallon drum. Filters great. I used it for filtering waste motor oil but it had been used with waste vegetable oil.
