This is a CNG compressor package complete with two compressors. A built-in gas dryer, sequential controller, and a priority fill panel. The system is capable of producing 55 gas gallon equivalent of CNG per hour from a 20 psi supply. All components are inside an enclosure with no exposure to the weather unlike many of these systems. The package was produced by the industry leading ANGI energy systems and designed with explosion proof electrical elements. This system will work well for a fleet or for a small public station. The system was built and installed in 1994/1995 but saw little use after the price of gasoline fell and was removed from the site and placed in storage a few years ago. It is very reliable(much more so than the big pumps) and provides the convenience of bypassing the gas station and hooking up at home in the evening and coming out in the morning to a full tank. This is as easy to install as a gas dryer. An even bigger benefit is the price of natural gas from your house is much less: in Utah it is about 80-85 cents per gge. I have just had the compressor rebuilt(something that needs to be done every 3000 gallons and costs about $200) and it is ready to go for a long time. It comes. There is no expiration on these units because if it is cared for and all scheduled tune ups are preformed in a timely manner they just keep on pumping! This is an honest value. These units. Used, without the house go for between $32.000 and $50,000 all the time. This one has an issue that you will need to address. But it is well known and documented, so I know what you can expect if you purchase this unit. As it is. It’s a steal at half the cost of lesser units! This is an entire running. High spec(city owned) pump-house with 2 each 30 horsepower driven Mako pumps and all accessories(valves, servos, safety, gauges, and a ton of stainless piping) to make a self service station work, except storage tanks. However. It has some issues that need to be dealt with. It was working and used. Up until the day it was replaced by a bigger unit. It had one pump go out. But the other one worked. The manufacturer. Universal, had looked into the repair and quoted me $5600 parts and labor to rebuild the ... moreone pump, plus travel and per-diem. The parts needed are a#4 cylinder and the seal kit. Which ran $800 each. I would suggest having both completely rebuilt and having it run perfectly from the start. But you can leave it with just the one working pump and rebuild later. The weak spot for ALL CNG pumps is the high pressure cylinder and this is no exception. Those prices are about 3 years old now. I had planned to set this up and use it for.50 cent per gallon gas for my trucks. But we moved and I don’t have the room, security or even 3 phase power in my new location. I have to sell my baby! You will see in the pictures that this is an entire house. It is 8’ X 8’ X 8’h. Its 8,000 pounds of steel and made to go outside and was outside all its life, except the 3 years I have owned it. Each side is a series of 3 lockable. Full height doors(unlocked now and we have no keys) so the entire side can be removed and gain access to the insides for repair. WHAT IS A VENT GAS RECOVERY SYSYEM AND WHY IS ... moreIT IMPORTANT? This compressor package is equipped with a an automatic vent gas recovery system. While carbon dioxide(CO2) is painted as the bad boy of green house gases. Methane is in fact 20-25 times more potent as a heat trapping gas. As a result, many Environmental Protection Agencies have passed legislation which prohibits the venting of methane gas into the atmosphere, and more will follow in the future. CNG compressors require that gas. Which is trapped in the cylinders and piping, be vented to prevent the compressor from restarting under pressure. The vent gas recovery system recaptures this gas and injects it back into the inlet of the compressor on start-up, so that it is not vented to the atmosphere. I have owned this compressor for 1 year now and it has worked flawlessly. It is a perfect"time fill" 4.5 GGE/Hr. CNG compressor for a small private fleet or home station. The unit can be connected to cascade storage for a"quick fill. This sale includes the compressor. One refueling nozzle and holster container, and a natural gas 2 pound pressure regulator. The refueling container(white) is equipped to handle two refueling hoses which can simultaneously fill two vehicles at once. I am selling this station because we recently completed a large public CNG station conveniently located to our alternative fuel conversion shop.
