Waste Oil Pump by WVO Designs
Great pump for Veggie oil. Or waste oil pumping! It only has a few hours total run time, practically new. I'm getting out of the oil business as I'm going to fire my boiler by wood waste instead of oil. Has 1 1/4 inch hose barbs. I can't remember the GPM on this but it can empty a 55gal drum in a few minutes! This is a beast of a pump. There is no filter screen that comes with this. The pictures look like the pump has high hours with the scrapes and such but I am the original owner can can vouch for the low hours! =) I had it mounted to a dolly hence the scrapes on the motor mount, The pump works flawlessly, wired for 110V. Biodiesel/ WVO pump, filter housing and band heater
Up for sale is my WVO/Biodiesel process supplied. I have a 200 PSI bag filter housing(pressure vessel) A 1/3 HP pump from Redline pump and a 400⁰F 55 gallon barrel band heater. I purchased this equipment new and used it to filter and dewater WVO that I used for my 2-3 hour daily commute. I used to commute from Salem Oregon to Portland Oregon every day- a distance of 100 to 110 miles that took me anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours one way. I got the WVO from our café at work, took it home and put it in a 55 gallon drum where I heated it for 1-2 days with the band heater. Once heated to ~100 degrees, I bled the water out of the mixture, then filtered the WVO through a 5 micron 4"x8" sock filter into clean containers. What came out was a nice clear amber color(looked like Light Beer) and I used that in my VW auxiliary heated fuel tank. ... moreI would start the car on Diesel, warm it up for a few miles, then switch over to WVO for the majority of my commute. Once I got to work I shut down on Diesel. I did this for 2 years and ran about 66 gallons of WVO fuel per month through my car. The system worked flawlessly and saved me a ton of money. My best month of commuting costs I made two trips to Seattle from Salem in addition to my normal commute for a total of 275 MPG on fuel I was paying for. That month I made these trips using only one tank of diesel. Anyway, I now have a 7-minute walk to work everyday, so WVO just doesn’t work for me any more. I have had this stuff sitting in my garage for the past 2 years doing nothing. Now I wish to just get rid of. I decided to sell as a block as I just want to get rid of it and figured I could sell it one fell swoop. My reserve on this is low compared to what I originally paid. Up for sale is a waste oil gear pump made from a new big block chevy oil pump.This pump has been tap threaded with two 1/2" NPT pipe nipples and I used JB weld to make a good seal the shaft is a half inch shaft that can be spun with an 1/2" chuck drill.This pump work great with just about any liquid.This pump was used for a few hundred gallons of waste motor so it is still in great shape.The shaft is a tight fit and just a few drops of oil comes out when in use.I put this pump on a 1/2" corded drill and was pumping about 10 gallons a minute at 40 psi. Waste oil and 87 octane gas to thin out the oil.I am ataching a video link to get an idea on how it works.This unit can clean about 45 gallons of waste motor oil in about 8 to 10 hours I add 10 to 1 87 octane gas to thin out the oil.The centrifuge is a high pressure rotary centrifuge that runs on 90 psi oil pressure via BMW power steering gear pump the barrel has a 1500w 120v heater in it and the whole system runs on 120v 20a power.The lid has a 1/2 pickup pipe that runs to about an inch from the bottom of the barrel.I pre filter all of my oil with 50 micron bag filters that I get off of ebay for about 5 dollars a bag. Teel 1v430 bronze gear pump 3/4hp 1ph AC motor biodiesel WVO oberdorfer shertech
Used removed from working filling system. the pump is a bronze 1"NPT teel with no relief valve. the motor is a dayton 3/4 hp single phase. it is wired for 115v as is sits but does not have a cord or plug. the pump and motor are mounted on the aluminum channel as shown and we just cut it out of the frame is was welded to so the ends of the aluminum are sharp and jagged. READ: I really could not test the unit to pump fluids. but I did power it up for a short times and it runes smooth and quiet. I shined a flashlight at the gears and they are not all chewed up.
