Here we have a Simpson Volt Ohm Meter(VOM) complete with case. Operating booklet, and probes. The carry strap seems to be missing, but looks like two screws are present. No way to test, but the meter movement seems to float freely and I see no visible abnormal damage externally. This is a Model 260, series 6. There is minor soiling from expected usage, but looks good overall. The case seems to be leather and is branded"Simpson" on the front. I'll look for the carry handle, but it doesn't appear to be available unless it is under the probes somewhere. Assume it missing. The booklet shows age, but then so do I. Ask questions. No returns. Shipping is for a Large Flat Rate box. If the case makes it take a larger package. You will be charged the fee for the larger box( I charge actual postage, no profit here)

Millivolt potentiometer with lots of character to become something else! Heavy duty metal box is 7 1/2" high. 8" wide and 11" long. I don't know if it works, my 83 year old father picked it up at an auction in the mid-80's. The label indicates it was last serviced in 1986. Vintage Sangamo Type JA watthour meter
Up for bid is a very nice Sangamo Type JA watthour meter.It is a 120 volt. 5 amp, 2 wire unit.These meters were built from 1940-1954.my serial number log shows this unit was built in late 1941.In 1940,the HFS and HFA meters were replaced by the JA and JS meters.the basic concepts behind the HFS and HFA meters were retained and updated.Initially,these meters were to be produced with chrome steel magnets, but just prior to production, these magnet assemblies were replaced with the new alnico magnets.The steel base on the HFS(which was prone to rusting out) was replaced with an aluminium base on the JS. The meter is in very good condition.the glass cover has little to no scratches and is still sealed in place by the original lead seal.I have never broken this seal and the buyer will recieve it still sealed.The wireway cover is attached.The interior ... morelooks like new and is very clean and bright. the tag is very clean and readable and has the utility company's serial number plate attached.The paint is in good condition but could stand a good cleaning.This meter will make a nice addition to a vintage meter collection or may be used for some other project if desired.
