Up for auction 1 electronic designs model 100 electronic voltmeter ohmmeter. Made by electronic Designs Inc Irvington on Hudson New York. This is a very old meter look at the photos and you will see it has a power cord coming out of the back. This meter has vacuum tubes in it as part of the circuitry part this is very unusual. Do not find volt meters that required AC power. vintage very collectible great display piece sold as is not working. I did not plug it in and am not going to with the power cord in the shape it is. I have no way to test it. And I don't know anything about vacuum tubes whether they are in good condition or not. I looked at them. They don't seem to be broken but I'm not guaranteeing vacuum tubes in any way. All knobs and switches move and spin as they should. This checks 0 to 750 volts DC, this has 4 thumb screw terminals on the top in ranges to hook up nesesary voltage range to read, this was made by A and M instrument p/n 5094, this unit the face has broken free from the brass retainers that hold the face on there is also a small chip in the bakelite, the brass retainers pulled from the bakelite, looks like it could be repaired by screwing through the face to hold it on, the unit has a leather hand strap and appears to be a clean working unit, this measures 5 x 5 x 2 nice original piece from USAF surplus, buyer to pay calculated shipping and packing to your locations, see our store for more stuff like this, Thank you RWK.
