They were all purchased or given to my grandfather who was a very avid collector of all things radio. It may be from cars, military, fire, police, and personal use. He grew up in the depression and had a love for radios when he was a child. So much of a love that he began his own two way communications business in Connecticut which turned into being one of the largest in the North East. When he wasn't running his company he was a local disc jockey, HAM radio operator, and a classic radio, car, and firetruck restorer. He took very good care of all of his radios and enjoyed selling them to people who were as passionate about them as he was. Most likely came from a sub-station from an electric trolley or subway line. Glass is missing from front of meter. Cast Brass enclosure, in good condition. I do not know if it works but it probably does? Has two terminals on the rear mounting bolts. Great memento from the age of roaring giant machines. Circa 1915.
