Parting out a complete. Good running, KLR. Please read full description carefully. This bike has been my personal daily driver since 07. It is extensively modified. And in cosmetically poor condition, so it is worth more as parts than as a whole. That being said, I am a lifelong KLR fan, and would prefer to sell all to one person who will appreciate it mechanically. I will answer any questions, and help the buyer any way I can. In this auction I am listing: The complete good running engine. From carburetor to muffler, and all components required for it to run. Including; radiator/fan. Complete cdi ignition. Throttle/clutch cables, and controls. Has working kick start assy from a KL600 installed. This is everything you need to Start/run the motor, so you could drop it right in a buggy/ kart if you wanted. These early KLRs did not require a ... morebattery except to power lights etc. it will start and run off the kicker with no battery) Mileage is somewhere near 30-50 thou. Internally completely stock. I have had the valve cover off to do the routine valve adjustments, and I had the right cover off when I installed the Kickstarter, I cleaned the oil pickup screen, and put new friction plates, and heavy duty springs in at that time also. Left cover was opened to inspect and adjust balancer chain tensioner(doohickey) it is still stock, and working perfectly. So, other than that this motor has not been opened up. Always ran Shell Rotella T 15-45. Always used UNI foam air filters. Carb has machined brass choke mounted direct so it doesn't need a cable, and is protected from crash damage. Idle mixture screw has been lengthened, and has a bolt head, so it can be adjusted with a wrench while running. Muffler is SuperTrapp recently rebuilt, with extra disks and packing. We are selling our Kubota with heated cab. 42" snowblower and 60" mowing deck. I purchased this used unit 5 years ago for an account and it worked awesome. The cab was purchase new when we bought the unit. It is a diesel engine that starts up on the coldest days without a problem. It has glow plugs. Frame adapter brackets to mount a Snow Bear plow on a 1997-2002 Ford Expedition 4X4/AWD. I have sold the vehicle and am using plow on a different truck. These came off my'99 Expedition and I sand-blasted and repainted them. This was done a couple months ago and a little surface rust is present now. These are equivalent to the Snow Bear part number 81512. If bought new. These cost about $250.00 for the pair. I will also consider trade for the 82610 kit(that will fit a 82-04 GMC Sonoma or Chevy S10 4X4) One small(professional) weld job was done on the pivot-stop tab(see close-up) This will, in no way, affect the strength or integrity of the bracket. This plow came with a truck I bought. I never have used it. But it seems to work well. It has been sandblasted and halfassed painted. The cutting edge is somewhat worn in the middle. I bought this plow four years ago from a friend. He had it installed only about a year when his truck was hit and damaged beyond repair. He had it in storage until he sold it to me. The transmission in the plow truck only lasted a year after that so it was put in storage again. This year I bought another truck with a unimount mount so it was pulled out of storage. Long story. Used it in the recent blizzard we had and it worked perfectly. I have used it only for personal and jobsite plowing and probably don't have more than 24 hrs on it. The photos show that it's in pretty good shape, the useless powder coating is bubbling in spots and needs to be taken care of. Also have wiring and a joystick to mount inside machine to control plow. Currently attached to the front of a tractor, will be removed before sale. Can test run. Plow has good cutting edge, but moldboard could use some TLC. Completely functional as-is though. Unit can be truck mounted, but buyer will have to find own sub frame.
