54" Box Blade - 3 point, Category 1 - Very solid, Heavy Duty! / 3pt, Cat 1
4 1/2 ft wide(54 inches) Cat 1 3pt box/scraper blade Very heavy duty. Frame and main part are 1/2" steel. The box sides are 1/4" steel. Could use some paint(has surface rust) But otherwise in very solid shape. Has two cutting blades(one on front, one on back) and four slots to attach ripper teeth. The top of the rear is bent a little, there is a tow hook welded there that was probably used to pull out tree stumps or something. Doesn't affect the way it works at all. No ripper teeth on it(a.k.a. scarifiers/shanks) but they are about $15 here on eBay or you can get them from the local farm store. The shanks are the standard size most blades use, I think it's 1/2" x 2-1/2" Still. This is the cheapest one you'll find on either eBay or Craigslist. About half of what the others are going for. The cutting blade is in great shape and looks almost new. It has had little use and no abuse. Surface rust is from being stored outdoors. 55" wide x 24" high x 80" long including the tongue. Here I have a"REAL" Gannon Box Blade Scrapper Ripper. It is made by Gannon out of good old USA Solid Steel. This unit is old. But works fine. It's been sitting here and well someone else maybe able to use it as I did a time ago. It's not rusted out. The one spring on the left side is broke which holds the rippers up. I just use a short chain to pull one of the ripper teeth up and hook it around the trailer hitch ball you see on the back. No big deal, the spring maybe able to be welded. Other than that, everything works on it. Don't ask me how old this unit is. I ended up with it when I bought my first tractor out here. I may have used this 7 or 8 times.
