It weighs about 800 pounds and has a working width of 65" This is great with a tractor around 40 horse or better, however we used it for the driveway with our 8N as long as the scrifiers are up it works but this is better suited for a larger tractor. This is very heavy built and new ones sell for around $1500 today. One spring is missing to raise the scarifier. We use rope of chain and it works great. Look at the pictures for additional details. I bought this box scraper new about 6 years ago to maintain my dirt driveway and I ended up using it once. It worked well. But I've found that taking my backhoe off the tractor to use implements is a pain in my butt, so I never used it again. I just use my front end loader when I have to smooth something. Functionally, it is as new. cosmetically, it has a few spots of surface rust consistant with it's age and not being stored in a garage. Nothing to affect its usability though. this is a heavy duty box scraper for a normal size three point hitch. My tractor is 30 hp. I can help load in a trailer or truck. NO SHIPPING. SIX WAY BOX SCRAPER This is a six-way box/scraper that also has a hydraulically driven light-weight logging cable. The box was part of a CASE 580C backhoe sale but the buyer didn't need the box scraper. If you don't have a 580 or a 3-point hitch similar to that on a CASE 580. The model which has the detachable hoe, this will not work for you. There is one hydraulic control valve which has a crack and needs replacing. I've been informed that anyone who knows anything about hydraulics and wrenching can do the replacement in a very short period of time.and the valve is easily accessible. The value in scrap metal is almost as much as the starting price and the winch/cable set up could be torched off and used someplace else. I would do this but have no more need on my place.
