Antique Western Wheeled Scraper Road Grader Horsedrawn Vintage
Best I can tell this scraper is about 1892 vintage. Seems like the company made slight variations to the models maybe for customer desires. Everything is operable. Blade shifts from side to side, raises& lowers, blade rotates. Decks have been replaced, rear seat is a tractor type& front has springs but needs the wooden or metal buggy type seat. It is not original in some respects but I tried to get it as close as I could. It has a serial plate#258 which was purchased off eBay. Packing in the wheels is gone so wheels kinda wobbly, I put shims in to hold them tight. If you want to use it behind your tractor/horses/vehicle you'll probably need to remove them. So there's still some things left for your touches or you can leave as is. I entered it in our Christmas parade in our town(on the trailer) everyone loved it. His nickname was Woody, so even though this scraper is 99.95% iron I named it after him in his honor. He used to help me work on my cars when he was a toddler. This auction is for a vintage pair of Austin-Western Grader porcelain signs. They are 30" x 5 1/2" Weigh together 5 lbs. These are fresh out of a local estate. Marked bottom right corner Burdick-Chicago. These vintage signs do have some chips to porcelain at the mounting holes and along the edges. Considering its age and spending years out in the weather the letters are in nice condition. The white has staining and there is some rust where the porcelain is missing. 1950s HUBLEY BOXED DIE CAST ROAD SCRAPER GRADER No 481 CONDITION NOTES: This toy is in good shape for its age and will display quite nicely. The scraper is missing from underneath the vehicle as you can see. But it does come with its original box. A replacement piece may be found on eBay. The paint is good with minimal scratching here and there. The steering wheel is intact and all tires and axles look great! The box is in overall good condition with some storage wear and corner wear. One side has all tabs/lids intact and looking nice. The other side is missing the two inner flaps and the outer flap with print on it has been nicely repaired with tape from the inside. The images on the box are clean and look great, and will help this toy to display quite nicely. The grader measures 10.5 inches long. I've had this grader since 1956. And yes, I'm over 60. One feature that all of these vintage Tonkas listed on E-bay have, is a lot of scratches. It's good to see everyone played with them as I did. Bypassing those, everything is original and complete except the items already mentioned. Overall measurements are approximately 17" long by 7" wide by 7" tall. TONKA ROAD GRADER - ORANGE - Nice VINTAGE
For sale today is a very nice vintage Tonka Orange Road Grader. The body and frame are nice and straight. The paint is in over-all very good condition. Only a few isolated paint chips here and there. The tires and wheels are also in great condition. Al beit a little dirty. The toy has been played with, but still in very good condition. The Blade moves up and down, and pivots as it should. Steering is via a front steering rod, still nice and straight. Decals still affixed to both doors. Even the original black rubber Smoke Stack is still all there! This is ALL ORIGINAL Tonka Orange Road Grader! I think that the ORANGE painted frame and the bright YELLOW wheels with the Black Tires make this a some what unique item. Most of the graders you find are all just the same old boring Yellow coler. This item would even make a nice Art Deco Display ... moreitem! This is a nice size. Measuring about 18 inches in length by 8 inches Wide and 7.5 inches Tall. The word TONKA is on each of the six tires and the back grill. The black rubber exhaust pipe is still intact. They are often broken off and missing on many other Road Graders you might find of this vintage. Would make a nice addition to any toy collector's collection. The ORANGE color is highly sought after. VINTAGE PRESSED STEEL DOEPKE MODEL TOYS ADAMS MOTOR ROAD GRADER
This item is a vintage Doepke Model Toys Adams Diesel Motor Road Grader. The toy is heavy duty pressed steel construction. Rubber Goodyear Tires. Steering wheel turns the front tires. The blade moves up and down. Markings are good. There is some flaked paint from age and usage. Normal scratches on the finish from wear. No body or structual damage other than a bent adjuster lever used to move the blade up and down. There is some surface rust where the paint is flaked away. The toy measures 25 1/2" in length. 8 1/2" wide and stands 7 1/2" tall.

Vintage HUBLEY #505-58 Diecast 1958 TOW TRACTOR TRAILER And ROAD GRADER Set
Another estate sale collection. with some nice toy stuff nets this item. This is a die cast metal diesel equipment tractor set. It is made by HUBLEY. On the tow tractor. The body is marked on the inside of the sides, with 505-58 R& L and MADE IN USA. 505-58 is also on the hitch bottom. The tires are in very good condition, and not cracked. They also have Hubley on them, along with their size. I do not know if it had a roof, but I would say not, the way this is made. There is also no damage. This vehicle looks like a poor cast of a Caterpillar. But I am not fami liar with vintage construction toys. However. There is the word DIESEL on both sides just in front of the front tires. HUBLEY is also on both sides just above the front tires. T he original yellow paint has typical mid century scuffs and chips as does any used toy die cast this ... moreold. And it is slightly flak y. Cleaning it must be done carefully. The paint on the underneath is really nice though. The scale is about 1/20th maybe. On the equipment trailer. The bed is marked on the under side of the sides. With NO. 506 HUBLEY KIDDIE TOY and MADE IN USA. The tires are in very good condition, and not cracked. Very nice axle set up. They also have Hubley on them. T he original yellow paint again. Has typical mid century scuffs and chips as does any used toy die cast this old, and it is slightly flak y and caution when cleaning it. The paint on the underneath is really nice though. The third piece of the this auction. Is the road grader. The bottom is marked with NO. 481 HUBLEY KIDDIE TOY and MADE IN USA. The tires are in very good condition, and not cracked. The floating suspension is still in tact. Typical of this old toy is the broken and missing bla de. But on the trailer in this set, it would display good. The steering wheel is inta ct and steers the front tires properly. It was part of the road grader set with a trailer in matching color. I have seen the road grader and equipment trailer with a semi truck but I had never seen THIS tractor toter. Overall,
