You are looking at a Northwest Territory 1-2 person tent. The tent measures 6 1/2 feet long. 4 1/2 feet wide and 3 feet high in the center. The tent and all its parts weigh about 4 lbs. It has a 13" x 13" rear window that has a velcro storm flap. It has a nylon water repellent roof and a 3 way zippered screen door with storm flaps. It comes with 2 aluminum poles. 4 guy ropes and 10 plastic pegs for assembly. The tent has had little or no use, but the box itself has quite some damage from basement storage.

One of the"bibles" of classic North American fly fishing literature. The Inland Empire Fly Fishing Club of Washington first put a small edition of this book w/ the same name together. This is the 2nd edition. With the first 56 pages being large color plates of the flies. beside the photos are the recipes of the flies. From there to the end of the book is tying descriptions, as well as natural insect descriptions and discussions. A very thorough book. This book is over 20 years old, but brand new. I began my first forays into fly tying using the original edition of this book. An important addition to the tyer's bench!

Up for bid here is the 1971 Vintage book titled"The Beautiful Northwest" that was published by Sunset. The original copyright date was 1970 but this is from the second printing in 1971. It says on the cover that this is"A Sunset Pictorial" and that means that this book is full of vintage photos of the Pacific Northwest here in the USA. As for condition. The only thing I see wrong with it is the wear and tear on the dustcover jacket. The rest of the book looks great. I don't see anything wrong with it worth noting. This is a hardcover book measuring 9 inches by 11-1/4 inches. It contains 255 pages of mostly black and white photos.there are a few color ones. Northwest Territory 2-tent system. Family plus child, zip together.
You are bidding on two tents that can be used alone or zipped together. Great for parents with young kids who want some privacy but stay close to the kids. Give the kids more of a sense of adventure. These tents are several years old. But the child's tent was only slept in once and the large tent about 10 nights total. Very clean and excellent condition. Both tents have a regular double door(solid door and screen door) They also have a back door.this is where the 2 tents can zip together. Both have a screen roof for clear nice plus a small fly for rain. They are free standing, but come with ten stakes for extra stability or wind. Both have 3-shock corded poles. Each has its own stuff sack but the poles go into one seperate bag. The floor is a heavy material and durable. The back door serves as a window when not zipped together. The larger ... moretent has 2 inside small net pockets for storage. I do not have the instructions, but easy set up. Thread the poles through the 3 sleeves and then place the ends into a holder. Both can be set up by one person, though with the larger tent the shock poles must be pushed tightly to get them into the holders. Two people makes this easier but i set this up myself. I have included some rope. Not required for set up but could be used to stabize in wind. Approx sizes: Each tent has 6 sides. Larger tent is 8' x 8' floor and 67"height iin the middle. It weighs about 9 pounds. Smaller tent is about 4.5 pounds, 5' x 5' floor and 42" center height.

In fact, Admiral de Fonte did not exist and the entire account was a fiction published in a short-lived English publication known as"Monthly Miscellany or Memoirs of the Curious" in 1706 and probably ... morewritten by its editor James Petiver. On his passage, the self-styled"then Admiral of New Spain and Peru, and now Prince of Chili" described vast inland lakes and rivers, meeting other ships using the passage and a"Nation of Pygmies" inhabiting the region towards the North Pole. Incredibly, this transparent hoax was taken as genuine by some of the leading geographers of the 18th century with as a particular advocate and maps showing the fanciful nonsense of"L'Amiral de Fonte" were published as serious cartographic works for a number of decades. This example was compiled by the English Royal Geographer in 1768 and here translated into French and engraved in 1772 by none other than for inclusion of the plate in the great Encyclopédie of Denis Diderot. Item Description SEE PICTURES This auction is for a Copper box made by a group of Northwest Coast Indians who call themselves"The Whale People" They are Haida. Kwakiutl, Tsimshian, Carrier and Salish people. Copper was a traditional means of currency exchange among the Northwest Coast Indian People. At Potlach ceremonies, the host chief would divide a copper sheet, giving the largest portions to the most important visiting chiefs. The boxes are traditional storage units for food, ceremonial masks and artifacts. They are decorated with symbols representing animals. These symbols are often fragmented and then regrouped as to form a whole. They usually recall ancient legends and social taboos. THE ITEM's DESCRIPTION: This exquisitely detailed vintage mid 20th century hand-tooled embossed copper box measures approximately 6 1/4" ... moreX 4 1/4" by about 4" high. The box has an approximate weight of 660 grams or 23.2 oz. The overall vintage condition is very good to excellent with some very small areas showing green age oxidation. Northwest Coast Haida copper boxes are all handmade and has a variety of animal figures revered by the Haida. The top& sides of the box are decorated with traditional symbols including a Beaver. Sun on both ends. The box is all original and has not been cleaned and has its original age related patina. Incredible workmanship, skill and motifs make this truly unique. The inside of the box is lined with leather suede. My pictures do not do this box justice, much nicer in person. The box came with a paper that described boxes like these.
